White Reaper is, if any musical act in the US was cut down from their power curve by COVID, that band. They deserved to be bigger than Kings of Leon or Black Lips got. I'm blessed that when I finally got to see them, it was an opening set, since it was all killer no filler.

That is not a fact. Dowd told the Post in 2002 that it is "probably right" that Rose bet on the Reds. The fact is that Rose accepted permanently ineligible status, for some reason, before the investigation could determine if there was evidence that he bet against the Reds.
ROSE-PROBE BOMBSHELL – DOWD HAD EVIDENCE PETE BET AGAINST REDS; ROSE EXPOSED -PROBER: HE LIKELY WAGERED AGAINST THE REDS
By Joel Sherman
Published Dec. 12, 2002, 5:00 a.m. ET

John Dowd, who wrote the damning report that led to Pete Rose’s expulsion from baseball 13 years ago, said the report was not as damning as it could have been.

The Washington D.C.-based lawyer revealed yesterday that if the investigation would have continued a little longer it would have shown the all-time hit leader not only bet on Reds’ games, but actually bet against the team he was managing.

I love the part where girls apologize by making fun of the victim for being old
Last month, two female students at the school publicly posted an “apology” video on a TikTok account using the name of a seventh-grade teacher as a handle. The pair, who did not disclose their names, described the impostor videos as a joke and said teachers had blown the situation out of proportion.

“We never meant for it to get this far, obviously,” one of the students said in the video. “I never wanted to get suspended.”

“Move on. Learn to joke,” the other student said about a teacher. “I am 13 years old,” she added, using an expletive for emphasis, “and you’re like 40 going on 50.”
