I published Chase the Joker on April 15th, 2022. I can't believe how much time has flown since then? While I'm feeling nostalgic, I wanna post this art of young epilogue Akeshu by my dear friend @mikayare.bsky.social once again! Home is where the other goes, but having a getaway care is nice too!

renowned hockey skater goro akechi has to temporarily train at a different ice rink to his team's home rink, due to unforeseen circumstances. which is fine to him, ice is ice. it's not like he's never skated anywhere else before - he's on a national hockey team.

#Persona5 #GoroAkechi post canon, akechi basically goes into hiding, he avoids everyone, gets a new job that he can work on from home, gets actual therapy, tries to "fix himself" as much as possible... but he's miserable. so. he goes to a central tokyo animal shelter.

you are so much more than your father's son

A closeup drawing of Goro Akechi with a younger version of himself. They are aiming a gun in tandem, with the older Goro assisting the younger one from behind. The older one is wearing his uniform along with a small, wistful smile on his face; the younger one wears a bright red t-shirt and an expression of open delight. Both of them look ahead towards a target that is out of sight. The gun they're holding is the toy raygun from the Proof of Justice OVA.

A tiring day in the life of the detective prince. #goroakechi #persona5 #akechigoro Two drawings in the same month!? Maybe I'm an alien and I just didn't notice (I refuse to color)

The same Goro Akechi (Persona 5 Royal) fanart as in the image below, however, a closer shot, focusing from the waist up. Akechi, asleep and leaning on his briefcase, has a peaceful and soft expression, even tender when you see that his cheek is slightly crushed by the contact with the briefcase. The expression in the drawing is a clear contrast to the usual princely, pristine and palatial facade of the detective prince, and the sarcastic and rude private self, unlike these two personalities, Goro Akechi looks deeply asleep and free of any pretensions or worries.

A fanart of Goro Akechi from the game Persona 5 Royal. The drawing, despite being digitally done, is painted and shaded with a brush that simulates a pencil, so in general, the drawing is in black and white. The illustration shows the character sitting inside a subway, he is half leaning on the subway's armrest, his legs crossed neatly; however, although his back is not hunched, the young man is hugging his briefcase vertically while resting his cheek on it, using it more or less as a pillow.

making myself laugh thinking about akechi having a joker nui that he just like. habitually, systematically dismembers, unstitches, lays out all the pattern pieces of, and then puts it back together. it’s a fidget for him. he forgets it’s even weird until one of the thieves sees it on his desk

akechi has just sacrificed himself, and a mask appears before joker, a persona for him to take . he pushes it against his face, but he's hesitant. he doesn't want to. this is akechi's soul, his entire self is manifested into this mask, and taking it for himself means he will truly be gone.
