Added a new visual timeline to my website, illustrating the evolution from sspaeti.com to ssp.sh over the years, starting from 2004 to today. Hard to believe that my website has been online for 22 years and is still going. Love AI making such illustrations beautiful the way I want them.

Before, it showed "recently updated" all the git history. That git history, with added and removed words and dates of edits, still exists on the same hover, just below the explainer.

Inspired by @maggieappleton.com's digital garden stages, I added three states. They now grow from: started, growing, evergreen. Hovering will show you an explainer on the three levels (heuristically calculated based on how many changes & how long the note exists), or a fixed status by me.

You can actually just 𝚋̶𝚞̶𝚒̶𝚕̶𝚍̶prompt things. Here, I have a custom feedback page loading my book with reactions or comments on each paragraph. This is WIP and just testing the waters, but something like this is what I always wanted to get high-level feedback from multiple readers on parts of my book.

I show a use case that uses OmniGraph with Lance as the open columnar storage format, DataFusion as the query engine, and builds the typed graph with git-style branches. I mimicked my Obsidian CRM and rebuilt it as a Company Brain. There's no database server; only a typed graph in plain-text files

One way is to use branching based on open storage, storing all the information in a typed graph that shows how the knowledge interconnects (dealWith, worksAt). Also, keep data-type integrity (aka `schema as code`) and add a way to auto-merge branches into main, or at least review them.
Diagram outlines a branching data management system where agents write to separate branches, auto-merge, and resolve conflicts through human decisions.

thanks so much for the feedback. fully agreed. Before it was mainly text based, now I tried to make it a bit more visual, and show what's already there for people to explore, but maybe it's too much. One feedback i got i implemented, and the top bar has now articles instead of vanity metrics.

From a grammar-for-data perspective, I define sources (our NOUN) and transformations (our VERB), and bind them to any engine with a template and modifier; this lets us express all the operations a data engineering job needs. With manifest-ops, we can model it once and execute it deterministically.
A diagram outlines data engineering concepts, featuring nouns as data sources, verbs for operations, and connections to engines like DuckDB and Snowflake.

Defining your analytics solution end-to-end in one sentence would be a dream for most data teams. If we use a grammar that helps apply all steps of the data lifecycle, we can define, manifest, test, and run a full ETL workload with one expression. I tried exactly this.

Is this how AI-scraping looks like? I got like ~4.5k total visits/h, 4-5 visits on each of my pages (notes & blogs). The source is unknown. 437 agents simultaneously on my `posts`, scraping every page? 🤔 I guess I need to ask the next versions of each LLM and see whether they use my knowledge.
