#caturday. This is Pebbles on the bed on the pillow. The pillow happens to be my pillow but apparently I only get a few square inches of the pillow for my head. But of course Princess Pebbles can have anything she wants!

#birds A group of first-year scaly-breasted Munias pile on at the feeder. A few are getting their first scales in place of feathers. These birds are originally from India and were imported for the pet trade. Enough made their jailbreak and have been spreading north from Southern California

Pebbles cannot contain her astonishment over attaining 500 followers. Our main goal has been to promote the adoption of senior cats with a little garden, birds, and feline fun. If we get one senior cat into a new home it will be worth the effort. Please go back to our earlier posts on seniors.

#caturday this fellow started visiting last week. Checked with the local cat group and he is a known community cat. His tipped ear signals he has been neutered and got some vaccinations. He certainly looks like he’s got some Russian Blue so I am forced to nickname Boris. Will feed as long as needed

Community cat with a tipped ear. He seems to be at least part Russian Blue.

One of Pebbles most favorite things is to look out the window and supervise the ongoing activity. Sometimes she combines that with her most most favorite thing and that is taking a nap. This cat stand is a venerable member of our household having been around about 12 years. Check alt text #caturday

No flowers yet. Only had them for six months or so. They are putting all their energy into growing/splitting but the pinkish one looks like is getting ready to push out a flower. If it happens I will post. Have you looked at lithops? Even odder.

Pebbles having a light snack of just put out catnip. I grow it in a container, harvest once in a while, and dry it for a month. I mix in a small amount of store bought. She eats the fresh stuff.
