Like, we usually get at least one meaty trailer by now. Even if it's not a long one, it's usually our first actual look at the movie. I'm surprised we haven't even gotten that yet!

Never mind the next 2D or 3D Sonic game...I'm surprised we haven't even gotten a Sonic Movie 4 trailer yet! It premieres in 6 months! I guess there's always The Game Awards but damn, 3 months before its premiere date is kind of pushing it.

You know, at first I was annoyed with myself that one of the minecarts i put on here isn't aligned with the others. Then I made a head canon that it was probably doing the snaking thing that players do in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds and I realized that fits with this picture. So now I feel better lol.

I'm about to be done with getting all the 2nd Miku festival stuff in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, but earlier I had the best result I think I've ever gotten in a festival race!

In-game screenshot of the results screen from a Sonic Racing CrossWorlds festival race. I managed to win with a x9 point bonus, resulting in me getting 324 points from one race!

*Looks at calendar* Come on. Do it. You know you want to. I'm waiting for it to happen.

Wasn't expecting the showcase to end this soon, but overall I did get quite a few goodies from it! I think there's only one thing worth uploading as a video reaction highlight though, so I'll link it here in a bit!

100

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Right. The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct begins at the top of the hour! I'm not expecting much. In fact, even just one thing that excites me would be surprising to me. If there is anything interesting though, I'll post video reaction highlights in the replies to this post!

110

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

The camera's a pain too. I'm 2 hours in and I still haven't gotten used to the game's controls and camera. If this is what I'm dealing with for Ocarina of Time 3D, then I have a bad feeling about Majora's Mask 3D.

100

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Well, I did finish the Goron dungeon, but I ended up getting frustrated with the games controls and I stopped. I don't know if I want to pick up the game again, but... I can see why this game's getting a remake now. lol

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Alright, I'm about to play the game again. Since I need to stay awake for PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct reactions, this should hopefully be a lengthy one! Let's see how much progress I can make this time!

I thought I would share a very important development from my modded SA2 Chao World. My Miku Chao is not only drawing into a tree, she's become one with the tree. I am impressed. lol

My Hatsune Miku Chao drawing into a tree. And becoming a tree. Because Miku Chao is now tree.

Not a long playing sesson as it's late, but I did defeat the first boss and learned Zelda's Lullaby! So far, so good! Hopefully I can learn fast travelling soon.

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Alright, getting started on Ocarina of Time 3DS! This is my first traditional 3D Zelda, so here's hoping I have a good time!

120

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Oh. I forgot I did this thread. lol Well anyway, the remake threw a wrench in things. And I got mixed results from asking around and even doing a poll. Since I somehow forgot saying I'd play the 3DS version a year ago, I guess I'll...do that?

130

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

It should be "those" instead of "these". But you get the point. lol

Tbf… one could argue that The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was kinda a 90s equivalent of upper pre to early school cartoon It even has those “Sonic Says: remember kids, don’t talk to strangers” PSAs and that show is charming and funny imo, even if it’s all over the place! So it could be fun!

081

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

One thing I always love about watching videos of people in theaters during premieres of Sonic movies is hearing kids in the background reacting to them. It reminds me of myself nearly 30 years ago. It's so wholesome. <3 I hope this show accomplishes the same thing.

010

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

The thought of little ones seeing the show & getting excited at a speedy blue hedgehog booping robots made by a egg-shaped goofball...the show introducing Sonic to a new generation that may tell Sonic stories similar to my own when they get older...it makes my heart melt. <3

110

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I want more kids to be able to experience what I did when I was their age. I remember 5 year old me playing Sonic 2 and Spinball and loving how colorful they were, how cool Sonic is, and how fun it was to boop robots to make them go boom. Who knows? Maybe this show will do that!

160

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

So...a Sonic show aimed at upper pre-school kids is getting made. This isn't the 1st time an effort was made to make Sonic appeal to young kids. *points to SEGA Pico Sonic games* I highly doubt us older fans will like it. But as someone who was 5yo when I was introduced to Sonic, I'm all for this!

I did have another idea: play on Nintendo 64, on Switch Online, or the 3DS and *then* play the remake. But I don't know. It has been months since I stopped my traditional Zelda journey and I still haven't decided so I'm leaving it to you all because clearly I'm stumped. lol

010

SSF1991 @ssf1991.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Right, so I need your help. In my traditional Zelda journey, I made it up to Ocarina of Time. However, the remake threw a wrench in things & I had to temporarily stop. I still want to play it next...but which version? Play on N64, play on Switch Online, play the 3DS version or wait for the remake?
