My reccomendation is to make it CLEAR to Sony we don't want this! We can push back this beast, at least for a time...For me, I've no interest in getting a PS6 (I should probably try to FINISH my review and ranking of the Ratchet and Clank games). They'll have to prove I can still trust them.

so, it's not impossible to change their minds, at least for a time. However, I do find it...very clear this is not just coincidence! I do believe companies are trying to instill the all-digital future, so they can have full control over the games, which physical doesn't allow.

So, with this said, I do not, at this moment, plan to get a PS6. Alongside the fact it's said to be $1000! I am disappointed. As I've said, I feel a digital only future is one wrought with games being lost, and money basically being stolen when they're deleted from libraries without your consent!

I love video games. I love owning them! I want to one day walk into what was meant to be a large closet, and find shelves of games lining the wall! And with PlayStation, inFAMOUS got me into gaming, and Ratchet and Clank is one of my all-time favorite franchises!

This comes only a few days AFTER it was announced GTA 6 would be digital only. And now, there are reports Xbox may also go digital-only, though it's not confirmed, as far as I can see. I hate this.

Alright, sit tight, folks, this is gonna be a long one. So, today, Sony announced that they will be discontinuing physical game releases come 2028. They then proceeded to show why that's a bad idea by announcing how they're once again going to try to shut down the PS3 and Vita store July 2027.
