“…Really. Some of the guild members I lead say I snore so loud no one ever gets any sleep.” He placed his claw on his cap and adjusted it. “Not sure why ya decided to move me under some shade and use that bag as pillow. I’m no one special, just some captain.”

“Great, let’s get going then. No use just standing around here.” He grabbed the paw of the Squirtle and lifted him up. Hunching over, he lightly threw him onto his back. “Hang onto my dorsal fin. And uh, don’t fall off.”

It really wasn’t that small, in fact it was big enough it probably couldn’t fit on the Salazzle’s head before falling off. “Uh… I didn’t think I was dead… Who even are ya?” The groggy Garchomp sat up and scratched the back of his neck. “Can I have my hat back too….”

“Well, there’s really only one solution to that, huh? Guess we gotta find out where we are, and find some other Pokémon too.” He looked around at his surroundings. “Ya can follow me if ya want. Let’s find some civilization.”

“Hm? Uh…” Rubbing the side of his head, the Garchomp rose up from his slumber. Yaaawwwn. “Mhm… Dunno how long I was out? Where even am I?” His visions pretty blurry, he hasn’t even noticed the Salazzle.

“Yup, the name’s Mako. Glad ya remembered me.” Scratching the top of his hat, he looked around. “So, have ya seen really any other Pokémon around here besides me? I’m sorta lost right now to be honest.”

Well, that might not be loud enough for Mako, considering he was on his side asleep. He’d been pushing himself too much later, so he sorta passed out in the grass.
