Tobacco/cigarette advertising is illegal in Australia. Yet Facebook is flooding timelines with tobacco/cigarette advertising. I've told it that the advertising is illegal but it continues. I've also complained to the relevant authority. Here's a screenshot of the sort of stuff they're pushing.

You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. Nothing will change your perception. For that's what it is, perception, and yours will differ from others. It is the world of social media and the heart of dis-information.

Sad to hear of the death of NZ born actor Sam Neill. His family said his death was sudden and unexpected. He always seemed like a good bloke and it is sad to see him go aged 78.

To my friends in the USA I am asking when your President will end the Russia/Ukraine war. I watched him in a debate before the election saying he would end it in 24 hours. In his defence he did not say which 24 hours. Can you help me out and tell me which 24 hours he was talking about. TIA.

Can we please use this bloke's real name -- Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon. "Tommy Robinson" hid his identity and criminal history. He's also used Andrew McMaster, Paul Harris, Wayne King and Stephen Lennon. Stop giving him a forum for his anti-everything rantings. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-06...

There is no such thing as "Government money." The Governments of every country do not earn a cent. It is all "taxpayer funds." We elect politicians to manage "taxpayer funds" on our behalf. If every dollar is not spent wisely we should replace the managers.
