Kita and Kitai (1990) mention an amygdala-->contra striatum connection in rats v briefly

Contralateral projections
The anterior commissure contained a number of PHA-Llabeled fibers that projected into the striatum and the
cortical areas contralateral to the PHA-L injection site.
Patterns of projection in the contralateral sites were identical to those observed in the ipsilateral site but contained a
substantially lower density of labeled fibers.
