Experimenting with a noise bridge. Before VNA's and antenna analyzer these are all that we had to measure antenna impedance. Fun to use and balance out the stray reactance, 10pF capacitor soldered to RCA plug to Xc terminal did the trick.

Found this NOS tube on Ebay it arrived today. At first I was concerned before I opened the package because it rattled, the top came off of the tin. This tube has the vacuum seal on top, easily damaged was lucky it survived, tests good.

Math formula for my first computer program that I got to run on the IBM 360 in the 1970's with lots of help from fellow classmates. Input was on keypunch (Hollerith) cards little did I know that it would much later be used map tRump's brain. LOL

WWII BC-611 3885 KHz AM walkie talkie repair. It has a number of problems. The first I.F (intermediate frequency) transformer primary winding is open. I will try substituting a replacement transformer.

Bad microwave sampler diode HP part number 1901-0573 set made from pure unobtainium

Serviced HP5257A microwave transfer oscillator problem was a bad sampler diode. I was lucky from two bad units, found one good diode, that matched pretty closely with one in unit. They are used in pairs. HP manual diode test uses HP412A for good reason, the diode current must be low, 50uA.

Fuzz face build, modified DIY kit from China some years ago. Used transistor sockets an RCA 2N404A. The kit came with fake AC128 transistors, the leakage high and Hfe low, would not work properly. Mt cat Lucky curious as usual.
