And to keep it more lighthearted….I’m reminded of one of my favourite Xmas cartoons. Also a replay of the most listened to music of the year 😄. A definite theme!

Today marks 6 years since a special dog joined our family. He was two when he joined us. Ted is often called the “stupidest clever dog we know” but despite all the missing socks, laparotomies, bonkers food driven behaviour, I’d not be without him!

As well as medical (anaesthetic/ICU things, likely to see pics of the dogs and music relate fare). And no doubt a bit of Crystal Palace too

Morning all! inspired by @emergencybod.bsky.social, I thought I’d introduce myself. I am an Anaesthetic & ICM Consultant , Clinical Director in ICM, based in the UK. I enjoy photography, dogs and currently scratching a childhood itch in learning how to DJ (DnB). So, a diverse range of posts!

I still remember buying this CD with my first wage from Safeways. Brilliant album and Roads is a masterpiece

What do we feel about etomidate? Also in some respects, it’s not what you give but how you give it (cautious judicious doses etc etc)

Northern lights and dogs! Great stuff. I only had my phone rather than one of the 4 proper cameras when the northern lights came to play. Still ticked off the bucket list!

An old pic taken at the Scottish Borders.

Sunset at the Scottish Borders. In the shot there is a tripod mounted medium format film camera.

Went down the rabbit hole of “happiness” after a talk at a conference. One of the things I hadn’t ever considered was gratitude. Really useful to centre myself or if not at my brightest.
