The basil plants in my garden are PRODUCING this year. I found 5 leaves, each of a different plant, for my supper on Monday

It's the exact reason why I got this tattooed on my forearm.

The boy doesn't have a chip. He was very good at the vet and while doing some shopping for a litter box and food stuff. We enquired for the price for health check and getting him fixed. If he has a home, at least he'll go back fixed.

We might've been adopted by a cute little guy. He just showed up at our day, and since it's wet and cold outside, we preferred keeping him and going to get him scanned tomorrow instead of letting him go back out. Little dude is C O Z Y. Also, I'm slightly jealous he's after @damerekat.bsky.social

I don't know if it's technically a different plant or if it's just an offshoot of the first one, but yeah: also a bud.

I'm someone who cannot deal with second-hand embarrassment, but puns and wordplays and bad jokes make me cackle so hard; the more it makes me groan, the better they are. This perspective about them makes me happy.
