I found the same one on the Thames foreshore! And then the next day I found a different one.

Trying to decipher the meaning behind multiple profiles on OKCupid that say "Designer always improving my craft" or "Public health advocate for better access" as the only descriptions. Test accounts or secret love letters?

A pleasant walk along the Thames from Rainham to Purfleet. Concrete barges, marshes, Dracula, and warnings blasted out telling me I was trespassing.

As a teenage metaller I would not have worn a band's t-shirt to that band's gig. I do wear Ingress t-shirts to Ingress events, even though it feels a bit weird. When else to wear them? It's nice to see someone random in an Ingress t-shirt because then you know you're playing the same game as them.

I found my first real coin while mudlarking today at Folly House beach! It was a 1p! I was excited anyway. Previously I had only found the wrapper of a chocolate coin.

A fun day out with @subbrit.bsky.social! Dodged dragon's teeth, wandered through the woods, walked along a railway track and into the Golgotha tunnel. Visited a signal box, Elvington Heritage Centre and the Kent Mining Museum.

Swoon over my hot ankle! A car ran over a pot of chilli sauce at the very moment that I was walking by, and it squirted onto my ankle. Eww.

The border between realities on the Thames foreshore is always quite weak, but that Monday in the sunshine, it seemed particularly porous. He gave me a tiny cockle, telling me it was something like a cockerel. He advised that I eat it with bread. I thanked him and held onto it for a while.

My dream self is obviously still at EMF, as I continue to wake up wondering where I am. The ceiling looks too high to be my tent. Perhaps I fell asleep in a marquee? #emfcamp

A listing of the number of carriages on each form of public transport I took for two weeks. One dash is one carriage. I also included buses and used one dash for a single decker, two dashes for a double decker. Most days are quite symmetrical, but not all.

"Your mind is heavy because it's full of ideas".
Street art in Brick Lane, with text saying "Your mind is heavy because it's full of ideas" and a snail-like creature wearing a jester's hat is saying this. There are a few other colourful and strange faces next to it.

One term we listened to the audiobook of The Hobbit on cassette tape and never got to the end before the teacher retired!

We were forced to do this at school - they'd play the cassette tape version of the book and we were supposed to read along. I'd always be way ahead with the reading than where the cassette tape was, so it tended to annoy me.

It's Thursday night and I'm dancing around the moon at the Museum of London Docklands, but I'm thinking about 25 years ago when on a Thursday night, I would have been dancing at the Dungeon.

Three eyes I recently found on the Thames foreshore: 1. An eye from a bearded man on a Bartmann jug (16th or 17th century stoneware) 2. A pink eye, probably from a toy. 3. A mysterious blue eye, which could be a stone. #mudlarking
A pottery sherd with an eye and a nose on it, from a Bellarmine jug. A blue eye that is maybe a stone. A pink eye. (Please note, you need a permit to search or mudlark on the Thames foreshore.)
