Less than 2 weeks later: Betty knows no fear LOL

Max, 20+ lbs and 10 yrs old, looking comicly surprised while in a red cat playtube as he gets jumped on by a grey blur that is Betty, a tiny grey kitten.

Flashback to Oct 19, gotcha day, when she met Max within moments of arrival:

Betty, tiny undersized grey 4 month old kitten, meets Max, chonky 24 lb 10 yr old adult male cat.

They form a yin yang circle, checking each other out.

Hi to the folks here, sorry I am not on ere much but there are reasons, spoons mainly, I can't keep up with more than 1 platform at a time and not even that most days. Here's Betty looking extremely sweet, and hopefully cancer free after having her lumpectomy: @authormichaelhicks.bsky.social ‬

Betty, small grey 12 month old cat, showing off her reverse mohawk after a hopefully successful and complete lumpectomy to rid her of cancer.

This is Betty, now 9 months old. CH, and as we found out later most likely legally blind by human standards. Super cuddly, and doesn't stop her chasing the mice now infesting us. Falls down and can't catch them but she sure tries hard! Makes a great pointer cat too so we know where to point Max!

One of my fave shots of a sphynx cat, source unknown:

Grey over white tuxedo sphynx (hairless) cat, reclinign on a soft surface (pillow, comForter?) looking out of a platye glass window at the world below.

Sphynx cat in photo is incredibly muscley.

I was visually assaulted when I pulled out of our parking lot this week by, I kid you not, a feces brown cybertruck. I thought they only came in silver, and only saw my first one of those last week. Photo credit: www.reddit.com/r/pics/comme...

This seemed a pretty good summary so far - in replies to the x.com/HNimanFC/sta... tweet

screen capture of @greenzenforest on twitter asking "If changes found at 3/4 key positions, does that mean only one more change is needed?"

My fave photo of Betty and Max. Betty is the grey blur and max outweighs her by a good 18 lbs. She. does. not. care.

Tiny grey kitten Betty attacking Max (tabby over white adult cat) with gusto.

Max is in a red cat playtube and looking very surprised that a kitten would 1/5 his size would go on the attack.

Just a bad time for me as I don't have much to say as I am still dealing with our loss, and a kitten which may require an exorcist, lol. Kidding, but she's a lot. I have carpet burns on both knees from all the playtime =) She's worth it.

Pill shooter from the vet for $6 and gelcaps large enough to fit in the pill or half pill, but small enough to swallow has been a game changer for us. Our boy gets Cerenia daily and if a single grain hits his tongue, he will foam at the mouth like a rabid dog and not eat for many hrs.

Oscar, the receiver of said filled gelcaps delivered with the pill shooter pictured

I love this! This is Oscar, (formerly known as Elroy Jetson, who was surrendered with his mom and sisters) from the now defunct Royal City Humane Society in New Westminster, BC. We got him at 3.5 months, now he's 14 and battling kidney failure, but he's holding on for us.

Photo of Oscar, our Grey and white Tuxedo cat. Tuxedo cats look like they are wearing fancy suits, with white gloves, white shoes, and a white shirt under their formal jacket. He's also high on Mirtazapine, which helps make him hungry.
