After nine months with what I affectionately called the Galaxy S24 Ultra Curved Edition, it was finally time for a replacement. I went with the Fold 8 Ultra — partly because I wanted it, and partly because having another foldable form factor on hand is going to be extremely useful for development.

Threefold continues to evolve. Priests now have spells, swapping and a much bigger strategic role, the AI can battle itself for automated testing, and Sudden Judgment finally puts an end to those matches where everyone just shuffles around forever.

I wanted to see what had changed in Unity and enjoy developing without quite so many hardware restrictions. Naturally, that turned into resurrecting an abandoned Infinity Game Table prototype, completely rebuilding the idea as a fantasy strategy game, and starting Threefold: The Last Stand.

The WOWCube has been fun, but its limits are starting to feel more restrictive than inspiring. JOFD will still get finished and SLOA may follow, but I'm getting the itch to jump back into Android development — and maybe build a catalog that's ready if EverBoard eventually opens its doors.

JOFD is getting dangerously close to finished. The remaining systems list is shrinking: elites are finally elite, tombs are getting meaner, traps are becoming visible again, mastery is on the radar, and we're starting to think Floor 250 might be where our adventurer finally gets to retire.

New social platforms, an office makeover, progress on JOFD and SLOA, a much-needed sales dashboard upgrade, some encouraging growth, and unfortunately one very sad studio loss. Just another week around SquigglyFrog Studios.
