Woohoo happy birthday Janglestorm!

Squidlit Official @squidlit.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

I hope they completely redesign the dungeons at the very least. the OoT ones are very much solved by a lot of people today and it’s been like 14 years since I’ve had a good new 3D Zelda dungeon to chew on.

Ohhh… well that settles it. There’s no way any professional human artist could miss one of the keyblade most iconic features. how dare they attempt to sully the best games of all time with their garbage.

Is it just KH 1 2 and 3? Because… That’s missing like more than half the plot needed to understand KH3.

This version’s awesome shortcut controls are enough of a reason to check it out! once you get used to it it plays really smooth!

Squidlit Trivia! Did you know that Blipston's mayor, Squippington, is Squip's father? Squip's mother is often out climbing increasingly dangerous trees. She hopes her daughter doesn't go down the same dark path. The family has not always been Blipstonites. They're originally from Squippyville!

If your favorite Pokémon is pikachu (and not snom for some reason :3) Hey You Pikachu is pretty much the vibes you’re looking for. I went nuts for it as a kid, when my favorite Pokémon was pikachu. Pokemon Channel is also kind of the same thing but not half as good.

Aw man, the things I would do for a 3D Bonk game.

Thanks Pownchao! For better or worse I don’t quit projects! I did get a lot of lore written while I was off. (The little squidlits say hi!)

Thanks Oretal! Thankfully it shouldn’t get that bad again now that we’ve identified it. (sorry to be vague, I just get the feeling that posting medical history openly on the internet is unwise, haha)

She’s super cute! They’re so much more complex than most people realize.

I’m back at it! Had to take some health time, but it’s coming out one way or another.

Thanks Pamda! I’m still getting back into the swing of things after throwing off my rhythm but the little squidlits are a big help! :3

I always wondered why you didn’t talk about this game more and I guess now we know why!

That’s so cool! I never made the connection! Two of my all time favorite series. :3

Did you know that I love snails? They’re one of my favorite animals and maybe the cutest. I also find it oddly comforting that if an evil wizard magically sent me back in time to 500 million years ago I could still find a snail to be friends with.

Thank you Cyrene! It was a frustrating year but it was worth it!

Hello fellow squidlits! Sorry for the long hiatus. I had health issues that knocked me out for the last year and slowed Squidlit 64 development for the year before that. I didn’t want to worry anyone so I waited until I had good news. Now I’m doing much better and am slowly getting back to it! :3

It’s still in the works! Sorry about the lack of updates. I’m planning an explanation post of what’s been going on with the delay when things are back in order, which I hope will be this month.

Whelp, it looks like the giant “fungus” that‘s Dekka’s favorite food has been discovered to not truly be a fungus. I guess the little squidlit taxonomists were wrong about this one. www.onlygoodnewsdaily.com/post/new-for...

I wish! There are plans for them in the future, but life keeps getting in the way. They're made by @squishable.bsky.social and are incredibly well made! I love them to itty bitty bits. I take one with me everywhere and they've held up really well as I puppet them to make my spouse laugh! <3

Squidlit 64 update! For those new to Squidlit, I’m making the third game in the series on actual N64 hardware! Introducing walkin’ talkin’ NPCs who will defend you if they see you in trouble! I’ve also added in the signature ferocious ladybugs as an enemy! #N64 #homebrew #indiegame #Nintendo

That’s a good point and makes it a nice compliment to Nintendo Land, which is mostly skill based now that I think about it.

I need to check out Wii Party U! Nintendo Land is maybe my favorite party game of all time. So many cherished laughs with friends.
