Overall had a good time! This playthrough took me way too long with a particularly long break between the first half of ch10 and now, but I'm finally done.

And of course shoutouts Gallus, who set up the kill for Johalvier. Glad I brought the Berserk Sword along! He hit the 33 first try and proceeded to get crit and die in retaliation. Rest in peace buddy, hero of the holy war for sure.

Johalvier was the surprise favorite ever since I got to gen 2... which was probably over 2 years ago by this point? Took way too long a break... He's a fun unit and I really like how he contrasts the other Dozel characters. He's more rough like Lex but more "tough" than "cool" by comparison.

Patty is still my favorite, goofy character and goofy unit. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite characters in the series.

Finished Genealogy of the Holy War today! Overall liked it but the gameplay definitely gave me a headache at certain points. Patty and Johalvier are definitely some of my favorite Fire Emblem characters. Shoutouts Deadlord Gallus for chunking Julius for me so I didn't have to go to Velthomer.

I wonder which one could possibly be my favorite... Anyway, great work all around this year. As always you make some really awesome stuff.

Considering the two games/franchises I got into this year, I think it's time to finally retire the favorite FE characters list in favor of a favorite fictional characters list... though its still very FE-heavy (and thats AFTER limiting myself to only 50 FE characters...)
