There's so many gross layers to this trend. - The trans-fetishization while simping for a brand that is inextricably tied to Transphobia - The incel/misogyny coded use of the 'foid' term. - Overt sexualisation of a character that is a MINOR. It's like a turducken where it keeps getting worse.

So a spider was crawling on my ceiling as I was sketching and I got wondering if I could draw an anthropomorphic spider. Here's the whole flow of sketches and what I ended up with. A new villain for the roster!?

No major changes really, this first one is still my go-to reference, but I'll throw in a few favourites if they're helpful. Don't get too hung up on stuff like horn shape/size/placement, that stuff changes so much I do not care what artists do with 'em lol.

It actually got put back in the skybox as part of the "final" update (well not final anymore, but it was at the time) as a way to put a bow on things. Great decision. The view just didn't feel the same without it.

That's the worst part. The scammers have been at this so long, I *can* tell- like, on-sight if it's real or not. There's a few obvious tells they all have. But it still doesn't make me feel any better about it. Ghoulish behaviour, turning such vast suffering into a fucking revenue stream.

It won't be for a while (apparently they'll be sharing details monday, but more info "over the next few months"). But honestly? The "final" update they did back in June was really good, left the game in a good state, added some free questlines and even Sparrow Racing from D1.

Supporting your local game store is always a good idea. Good place to trade too, people in-person are generally pretty chill about this stuff and often trade below market value because of the mix of convenience and not having to pay shipping. Plus we all wanna help each other out and such.

We're getting Zephagamon and Heavymetaldramon Dual Cards in LM09 in November. Would be wierd to make 2 Liberator Dual cards and then stop. The info for BT27 said they'd be returning to having box toppers be support for decks that need it instead of just full-art alts. My guess is they'll go there.

Fair! I enjoyed the trilogy overall, but there's parts of Swarm/Void that just did not stick the landing at all. I'm kinda iffy on the new one because I just don't like the idea that 70 years later, the same old Mengsk-esque Dominion is still around...? And "open world shooter" whyyyy.

Honestly fair. Putting SC2 Wings of Liberty as best story is super understandable, it's so good. The immediate dropoff in story quality that followed with Heart of the Swarm is like, holy shit what a fumble, needs to be seen to be believed.

EX13 is the next Digimon Card game pack coming out and has new cards for the Mamemon deck type. The Mamemon playstyle involves checking the top 3 cards of your deck, then get to play free cards from what you find if it's a Mamemon. So it's totally random how well you do, so "gambling" fits.

For how slick and 'shiny' they keep redesigning dA to be, it's functionally a relic of ye olden times that refuses to become the least bit user friendly. But I guess making the website intuitive would stop them from serving you "50% OFF CORE!!!" advertisements.
