The new paints I got came with a pad of postcard sized paper, and one with prepaid postage to go back to the paint company to include in a gallery they're hosting. Wanted to do a practice round before trying out the real thing and I'm pretty happy with how it came out

No one knows who built the standing stones under the bluffs at Cracked Hills Barrow. A stone door under the overhang leads into the cliffside, but locals won't go near it or speak of it. Scholars tried to open it some time ago, but the expedition was abruptly called off after a series of accidents.

I've been on a kick of drawing my fursona in dresses lately. I based this one on a photo from WWII of an artillery squad fighting in dresses because the stage show they'd been doing was interrupted by an air raid.

I ended up kinda butchering the sketch experimenting with different pen nibs and a really limited watercolor palette. For an experiment with media I've never used before, I think I did alright :3 Might go back and ink and color the sketch digitally someday, to do it a little better justice.

Reading this book bored me to tears in high school. But the last like, five chapters where the story actually starts happening were pretty good. There really is something there, I just couldn't get into it. I am sure if I re-read it as an adult I would probably enjoy it, tbh
