There always comes a point when rigging a new character where I have to give up on weight painting correctly and just slap on a shrinkwrap to stop the clothes clipping. That, or just make them naked.

I am slowly coming around to the concept of clothes stretching along with the body. It's anoying as hell to setup in 3D, but it's nice to be able to work with character designs that aren't just "girl in a croptop and shorts".

Converting 3rd party models into animation ready stretchies is such a pain. Its like those gacha-slop artists paid no attention to the "ease at which she can be converted to noodles" aspect at all when designing these characters. Amateurs!

I am quickly finding out that the best way to animate stretchy limbs is straight ahead while the rest of the body should be animated pose-to-pose. That makes my animation process a bloody mess.

Still working on that Jazz animation. I underestimated how tricky it is gonna be animating her wrapping around while also slipping under the swimsuit. Doesn't help that I put the mannequin into such a daft pose.

Blender is interesting. My elastic geo nodes setup crashes on the newer versions and the only way I found to fix it is to add some nodes that spawn a cube and immediately delete it. That somehow stops it from crashing. I literally have to sacrifice the default cube to appease the Blender gods!
