#csm214 Assuming its a primal, given it was just raining, and how it has to do with the sky- my idea of the oncoming devil is the Thunder Devil. Representing one of the fear everyone is born with- Loud Noises. The same way Darkness represents the fear of the Unknown.

#csm214 Denji chose to live in blissful ignorance. And this has shaped up the narrative so we never know the behind the scenes of the events, but only their outcome. We don't know what leads Barem to say this, or why he's doing this. Thats what Willful Blissful Ignorance does.

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

#csm214 About Barem- i don't think this is the last we'll see of him. We already saw that Yoshida was swallowed whole and came back after Pochita vomited him. He isn't being swallowed quite whole here, but most of him remains, and he's immortal. If Pochita wants, he'll return.

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

#csm214 Denji (or Pochita?) is absolutely crying here. You can tell based on the expression he makes with his mouth.

1140

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

#csm214 I believe Denji lost will to live here is because he realized, way too late, that Yoshida was his only friend. Denji always rejected, and never seeked the idea of just a friendship because he didn't believe it would bring him the intimacy a romantic relationship would.

Finished Higurashi: When They Cry/Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Visual Novel It was an amazing story that allowed me feel the whole spectrum of emotions- which is a really hard task. Despite it's lenght, it is truly worth it.

Honestly pretty often i decide to not post anything about the new chapters because i feel like everything that can be said other people have said first anyways

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

forgot to post: I finished the last of the 100 endings in The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. I can't convey in words how much i cherished this experience. This is without a doubt Kodaka & Uchikoshi's one masterpiece. You must play it.

Caught up with Kagurabachi today! It was fine. Will follow it weekly

If you believe Fujimoto is, at the end of Chainsaw Man, going to give you the "solution" to the dilemmas set through the story and pretty much life itself by extension, then you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

3203

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

Does the Chainsaw Man manga actually need to repeat it every 5 chapters that Asa & Denji do like each other romantically without people going "Oh actually they don't/they dislike each other" based on gigantic reach and assumptions? It's getting tiring.

150

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

Chainsaw Man fans truly are too dumb to think beyond just black and white

041

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Fakesaw talks a lot of shit as if Yoru can't just nuke his ass 💔

081

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Fakesaw Man isn't saying things because it hates women, it's saying this because they ship Yoshiden

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

>Fakesaw deflected Yoru's bang with way more ease than Pochita did, with a single arm, while Pochita needed 3 >Denji beat Fakesaw seconds after in an standoff >Denji is thus stronger than Pochita

Bet she was giggling inside her when Denji said "Cool"

020

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

#csm200 People are saying that Asa "adopted Denji's mindset" or that he's responsible for her current way of being. Which is false. This was always Asa's mindset. Her wish was to be more selfish! What Denji's words did was making Asa feel like she's allowed to be herself.

3122

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Notice how while Asa hugs Denji's stomach, Yoru is hugging Denji's chest, right where his heart is.

This isn't the whole of Death's power. The Control Devil controlled those she saw herself superior to The War Devil turns into weapons these who she believes she owns. The Death Devil, in turn, would be able to enslave beings that she considers she has ended, even IF indirectly.

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

The very factual Chainsaw Man PowerScaling Top 10 P.S: The characters shown here are assumed to be them at their strongest form.

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

"I miss Denji!!" "I miss Asa!!" "When are they coming back?!?!" IT'S BEEN 4 CHAPTERS. ONLY FOUR 😭

281

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

Are we going to talk about this page? A dead crow, which have been the representations and eyes of the Death Devil through this whole part, is stepped on by Denji and (from presumably his imagination) the crow changes and turns into Pochita? Whatever could this mean... 🤔

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

#csm199 By the way, this means Death found a way to kill the unkillable primals. 2 of them. She has a ton of things up her sleeves

1111

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

#csm199 You know what's interesting? Birds also appeared after Yuko right before she was killed, and she explicitly noted that she couldn't read their minds. Yuko, who got resurrected by Fami before this. Yuko, who's a loose thread on Asa's life.

1295

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

#csm199 I KNEW IT I knew these birds were Death. I knew it all along. I WAS RIGHT

3213

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

#csm199 Death can control these who she kills. She can revive them by turning them into her pawns. She eats her new pawns. She told Nayuta that she must cooperate with her to stop the prophecy, just like she did to Fami & Fakesaw. And Nayuta was served in a platter, like them.

1142

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

#csm199 I was right! She does not want humanity to end.

1122

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

What if... Death's earrings, which coincidentally share the shape of Chainsaw Man's starter, are actually Murder Trophies of previous Chainsaw Devil's incarnations she assasinated?

1150

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

Through the Part 2 of the manga, the Death Devil has been constantly been symbolically linked to France, for some reason i can't manage to discern. Perhaps it's all a coincidence, but i would love be informed of what are your beliefs as to what this could possibly mean.

2234

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

By the way, the fact "Fami" is Death, means what she's saying here could very much be possible, if not what will happen. She can just take the heart of some random in the street and through devil fuckery transplant it into Denji. After all, she said she'll fulfill Asa's wish.

Real, SUPER productive discussion upcoming... Shouldn't Guilly theorically count as a weapon devil?

171

Spyghetti @spygghetti.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

"Fami" magically being aware in deep detail about so many things she should not know makes a lot of sense now. We know thanks to Darkness (& Aging) that primals have a form of extended knowledge akin to omniscience. And "Fami"'s the Death Devil, the oldest Primal of them all...
