I think I first heard Hootie and the Blowfish in 5th grade. In ok with Darius Rucker crossing genres. I, too, have eclectic taste, and sharing our unique interests is what breeds innovation. And this is a bop.

Ketch Secor was one of the founding members of OCMS, and he played fiddle for Gillian Welch. She played drums on some of the tracks on this album. I've been listening to her on repeat lately, she's a generational songwriter.

I expected Wendell Berry to pass away for a number of years, and he finally has. He was a rare voice that I encountered on the Christian path I was raised in, but kept after I sought my own course. I think that means something. He was definitely a good man, by his and my overlapping definitions.
