Buckle up #kacchako fam & @kchklunarlove.bsky.social ! I had the honour of collaborating with @campkacchako.bsky.social queen bee @harvestmooneve.bsky.social resurfacing out of retirement to bring you this special piece. Spread the word! GO READ! #kchklunarlove 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/62664490

Fic Cover for "Shedding Skin" Story by HarvestmoonEve and Art by BcxSanson.
The cover shows Katsuki and Ochako mid conversation sitting outside on the terrace.

Picture of Fic Summary: Katsuki Bakugou shows up at the Uraraka Family's doorstep after a minor mishap. (He blew up his dorm room.) She can see his trauma affecting him in such destructive waves, so the least she can do is offer him a warm bed to sleep in...at her family home...without asking her parents ahead of time. But this will be fun!

Close up of Ochako and Katsuki siting in close proximity in warm clothes. Katsuki wears his trademark colours with orange 'x' and double dots on a beanie.
Scattered about in the background are hand painted stones made to looks like the Chinese Zodiac signs.

Clear view of image to find all easter eggs, happy hunting.

Voila! This is my #kacchako exchange painting for @yummyjeonade.bsky.social for #kchklunarlove! I really hope you like it 🙈

Outside of a restaurant where the Class A reunion is happening, Katsuki Bakugou just caught Ochako Uraraka to make sure she’s safe because she was landing roughly in her hero costume. There’s a full moon but it’s covered by the clouds and looks like a crescent moon. There’s an orange star on the left of the sky and a pink one on the right. The pink one is surrounded by clouds. The restaurant has giant windows from which the majority of the class can be seen through, and Tsu, Kaminari, Sero, Mina and Hagakure are seeing kacchako outside. They have shocked expressions, except Tsu, she looks proud. Yaoyorozu is talking with staff. Kirishima is being strangled by Mina. Sato and Shoji are talking while eating. Midoriya just arrived and is being greeted by an unknown someone (but they have smth going on wink wink). Jirou is eating but was interrupted by Kaminari so he could show her kacchako outside. The rest of the class is situated outside of the screen.
Back to Kacchako, Ochako is blushing but she’s surprised and kinda freezing up. Katsuki is looking at her longingly, gently holding her up, moments before putting her down. But she accidentally touched him with all 5 fingers— oops.

omg people who obsessively read and leave hate comments on fics for ships they don’t like are so weird… a certain ao3 user needs to do something about their cortisol addiction

i used to exclusively write in present tense too! i really love the rhythm(?) of it. it flows differently for me, and it scratches an itch in my brain. also, i sometimes practice writing past tense by taking a paragraph i like that i’ve written in present tense and rewriting that in past tense!

110

krys 🌱 @sproutingliliums.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

i have a weird mental block when not writing in present tense, like the words are all trapped behind a dam or something lol. i’m working on it!! ToT

100

krys 🌱 @sproutingliliums.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

i must confess that i struggle a lot with writing in past tense, so i’ve been writing in that tense as practice, but it hasn’t gotten any easier 💔 i’ve been reading more in my free time too, but it’s so hardddd.

krys 🌱 @sproutingliliums.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

knowing me, i'll probably reread and make a few minor edits in the morning, like krys how could you forget something so simple or krys you forgot to swap out that sentence!!! but i'm generally happy with how the fic turned out 🥹

krys 🌱 @sproutingliliums.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

You ready? Have some fireworks and a happy lunar new year to my exchange partner @sproutingliliums.bsky.social as well as the rest of the #kacchako fam! 🎆🎇🧧 Here is my entry for #kchklunarlove Hope y’all have a great year ahead of you! 🐍

Katsuki and Ochako stand under the cover of the Temizuya roof playfully bickering/flirting as the sky illuminates with fireworks erupt behind them ringing in the year of the snake.
Pink text in the left lower quadrant reads:
„Happy Lunar New Year 2025“

Katsuki wear a traditional garment in his trademark colour by designer Sasori Nimaru as indicated by their name embroidered in his sleeves and her two trademark black dots. Meanwhile Ochako wears a kimono with galaxy theme with white roses decorating her obi and hair.
Bakugo leans casually against one of the four pullovers supporting the roof whilst Ochako has pinned him with a smirk and a Kabedon in place, a challenging smile on her lips.
