Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

more low effort word art

the words immune amnesia written in shaky blue text against a fragmented pink background.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

some fucked up art from my left arm cause my right arm hurts too much

the word "airborne" written out in shaky letters surrounded by equally shaky and simple drawings of flowers, leaves, dragonflies, etc. the text and background are shades of pale blues and purples, the decorations are cheery bits of pink, green, yellow, orange.

sketch of an idea i won't finish 🌦️

Simple colored sketch of a bathroom from the perspective of someone laying in a bathtub full of water. the sun is shining through the window and water is falling down from the showerhead.

🥀

Illustration of a vampire girl with short black hair in a red and black outfit looking confident and happy. The backdrop has swirling red rose petals and a golden yellow swoosh against a grainy purple background. Inspired by the star character from fionna and cake.

i'm not gonna finish this so please enjoy my silly piano playing polar bear 🌹

messy sketch of a goofy polar bear playing ragtime on an old upright. it's a messy good time, someone's spilling a drink, there's coins and roses scattered on the floor, piano keys are rolling, and the piano player turns back to give a sly smile.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 14/11/2025

thanksgiving vibes

Illustration of the three sisters - stalks of corn with pole beans growing entwined on them, the background is covered with different kinds of squash and their flowers and leaves. Contrasting with all the earthy green colors, bold red text says Land Back.

Illustration of Fred Crumbs wearing new black thigh high boots against the backdrop of bikini bottom. A tiny patrick star in the corner wearing his own boots and fishnets is giving two thumbs up. The reference pic I used for fred is also here because i don't know how recognizeable my version is.

Progress! I thought the blue fabric I ordered looked too dark so I dyed my own ✨

Some of the fabric from before, now cut and sewn into narrow stripes of red, yellow, white, blue, and green.

not sure i can pull it off, but really liking the concept (wip)

screenshot of a digital art work in progress. there's a river with two chinese dragons drinking and swimming amidst buildings. Everything is roughly sketched and colored to get an idea of the composition.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

Fabrics for my next project just arrived today 🌻

A spread of several metallic splashed quilting fabrics in black, red, yellow, white, blue, and green.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

idk vibes

Digital illustration in bright colors and diy aesthetic: speech bubble from a duck says "local journalism rules!" in all caps bubble letters. The duck is covering some text that says "billionaires (unintelligible) off".

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

this is tomorrow! I'm signed up, the schedule looks great. There are sessions on service animals, queer sex ed, and discussion with queer elders tomorrow. callingupjustice.com/accessible-v...

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

couldn't figure out how to finish this drawing so i just kept drawing. zoom in for funny details

Digital art of bright green letters in the shape of chickens and one duck spell out "Spring". The background is ruled paper with lots of little "pencil" doodles everywhere. Including an alien looking for games, a giraffe drinking water, a mouse going to space, and other whimsical scenes.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

iykyk ⚡

I drew a cat using a TENS machine. One hand is reaching for the dial while the other is giving a thumbs up. They are smiling and looking tired next to a speech bubble that says"just a little more...". The cat is framed by numerous, erratic lightning bolts all pointing inwards at them.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

sup

Some text based art I made. The text says "hey everyone in my phone... How are you doing??? Let me know!" The red letters are distorted and squiggly so it just looks like shapes. Some blue triangles are scattered throughout the text to break things up. It's all on a light background with a wavy dark blue border.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

things might be bad but I drew a bunch of cats

Playful and loose sketches of a bunch of cats doing cat things: sleeping, stretching, playing, demanding snacks, pooping, scratching, throwing up, etc. The lines and cats are all different bright colors and the whole thing is on a spring green background with a cream border.

Two pages from my imaginary zine on histamines 🥀

A colorful illustration of a large open mouth. On the tongue there's a goofy green mast cell, a tired peanut with a top hat, and a wedge of cheese. Hand lettered words on top read: Histamine Intolerance, a "fun" intro by Spring.

A colorful illustration of a picnic cloth with foods covering the entire page. There's two silly green mast cells looking down at the spread of common high histamine foods including pickles, canned tuna, eggplants, hot dogs, soy sauce, and more. Large hand lettered text in the middle of the page reads: So many foods, so much histamines.

Spring @springchikn.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

working on something tee hee

screenshot of a work in progress from procreate drawing program. There's a jar of pickles labeled Hickles!, a winking tomato sauce, an avocado, and other in progress food items on a pink checkered picnic cloth.

I heard it's okay to say raw dogging now??

Digital poster with the headline "MASK UP", subtitle "Still RAW DOGGING the air???" and text "Surgical is mid, You want the Best" with an arrow pointing at different countries standards for respirators: N95 for US, KN95 for China, and KF94 for S. Korea. The poster is illustrated with a person doing a skateboard trick and catching some air against a blue and white sky. There is a rainbow sticker and star stickers filling empty space. Everything was drawn by the post's author.
