Me and the girls went to emerald park today, I hadn't been on a rollercoaster since I was a teenager so that was something, I ended up going on 3 small ones, I chickened out at the last minute at the big one when I noticed it goes at a 90° angle, saw some cute animals in the zoo and petting zoo

I also went to see the forbidden sun exhibition in the photography museum. As I said I didn't have enough time to see as much as I would have preferred this year at culture night but that's ok.

Culture night was great last night, didn't go as crazy as I normally do. Went to a few art galleries I couldn't take photos of, but I did manage to snag a free ticket to world of illusion which was fine but I'm glad I didn't have to pay the €25 fee.

For some reason I ended up in the Omni this evening just as shops were closing (well Tesco to be exact) and having been up close to the marble fountain cmat danced in for her euro country music video I can see why her and her team chose this shopping centre as the filming location. So on point.

The chokehold this had on Irish people in the early to mid 00s. You'd find one of these in nearly every convenience store and then they just all seemed to disappear. Apparently they still have them in parts of Spain though.

Finally got around to visiting Glasnevin Cemetery today, the 198 steps to the top of the round tower absolutely ate my ass but was worth it for the views. Then had some coddle for the first time next door in the gravediggers pub.

Had a fantastic evening out with ladies from one of my old jobs, went to a wine bar and I had the most delicious glass of Henry of Pelham Cabernet-Merlot and olives, however I couldn't be trusted to sit on a high stool because I twisted my pelvic bone while stepping off & had pay €36 on a taxi home

Went out for my friends birthday dinner at Corfu Greek restaurant today and it was absolutely delicious, especially the spanakopita (pictured) the mousakas was also very tasty. Picked up a few new reads beforehand and had a nice walk around the city after we departed.

Since they'll be closing for good in a few weeks, I decided to try The Silk Road Cafe in the Chester Beatty for lunch. Got the Palestinian chicken with rice, couscous, beetroot and watermelon salad and a piece of baklava for dessert. And a can of rockshandy because why not. Absolutely delicious meal

So I went to the red flat today, it's like an interactive museum where they preserved a real flat that was in use during the 1980s communist era and gave out audio guides to listen to the story of the family who lived there. Was very interesting.
