We never expected to make a post like this, but our nerdy little family has slipped through the cracks and we and our children have become both food- and shelter-insecure We need help. Orders/donations on therookandtheraven.com will help us move to a more stable/sustainable situation Thank you ❤️

We Need Your Help
The last two years have been absolutely devastating for small businesses like ours (more info on our website at therookandtheraven.com). Yet, despite all of the many difficulties that we've faced (and the ones we're currently facing), we haven't given up.

We've come up with a plan that will not only give us much-needed shelter and food security, but will keep our little shop going for many more years to come.

But, we need your help to make it a reality.

It’s been a challenging few months. But I’m so happy to slowly work my way back into the right space to be a maker again.

These last few months have been filled with a lot of challenges. Some expected, some very much unexpected. Moving forward has taken a lot out of me and it’s been a long time since I’ve had the energy and space to be my maker self. I feel her starting to wake up again and it’s bringing alot of joy. ❤️

So y’all. I accidentally HDYWTDT the BBEG of a two-year DND campaign with an attack I had meant for a comedy farewell to my friends’ character due to my impending doom. I was down to cantrips, and cast Thunderclap through my Wildfire Sprit sitting on the bad guy’s head, flavoring it like a fart.

Hey all! I am recording an (informal) audiobook for a friend, any recommendations for good basic (low cost) software? Right now I’m just using the notes software on my phone and my earbuds. Doesn’t have to be professional grade, just looking to plus up a little.

Bro excitement over “AI” art strikes me as another example of the notion that an “idea” is worth more than execution, as in “I’ll give you my idea, you write it, and we’ll split the proceeds 50/50.” Ideas are cheap. The execution of ideas is the part that takes skill, & skill that makes great art.

I love my cozy desk set up, the one place in the house that is not multi-purpose or shared (ok it’s also the cat’s but I can’t pretend that is avoidable). My fave though are my two stuffies, named after my beloved pets who have passed on. Just watchin’ over me. :)
