I'm not one that usually reads anthologies. I hate the having to stop and recalibrate after each story. However, this one was well worth every start, stop, and pause. Absolutely everything I could have wished for in holiday horror.

Just finished this one by @chuckwendig.bsky.social . Such a fun and unique ride. Staircases in the middle of nowhere. Haunted house where the rooms never stay the same. If you like feeling claustrophobic with a heaping side of anxiety, this needs to be your next read.

I finished Brother yesterday, but had to sit on it for a day. When you get to that last quarter of the book, and all of the realizations hit, time stands still. It's not just a gut punch...the fist goes all the way through. I loved it!
