I think LSS has just determined that instants not being able to block was just arbitrary and a limitation on design. I think people are just too boomer to accept that instants blocking is the new thing. Like that new assassin M would be total ass if didn’t block.

I mean I feel this is less of them being stingy and more with just having more tokens avalaible during sealed events. At this point you would be asking them to add a 3rd token card at the back of every pack, which I suppose is a solution.

I feel this would only work at like the highest level? Like PT/Worlds invite only torney where the expectation is there. Feels kind of crazy to ask open entry participants to make a sideboard plan for each and every hero when there is like 30 of them.

I feel like it’s worth the set up. You gotta have like pummel in arsenal, and like pitch a yellow or spend a resource before sending the felling to make it the most efficient, so more than likely you have to sink a card yourself to make it work.

This is right in the Savage Lands lore article on the website. The issue is that Brute is not only a class, but also a race and the term Brute used to describe a group of people is just problematic. Levia is not a Brute race but still a brute class, but Kayo and Rhinar are both.

I like using the single player mode on talishar. It’s not perfect, but I think lets you get a good rhythm of turn to turn cycles.

It’s weird tho cause I think the opposite is true for lightning flow. You can only get the mini flow tokens with the prerelease kit and Zyggy armory deck. (Could be wrong, but I pretty sure that’s true)

Would a compromise to this be open equipment? I think the only issue with this would be siding storm striders and greaves with the intent of still tricking your opponent but atleast they waste a sideboard slot, I do think open decklist is a really bad idea, but I do think there should be something

I think blaming the Lightning talent for the sins of ocsilio 1 is a crime. Omen’s fantastic limited experience with the aim of supporting primarily ocsilio 1 was at the cost of a shafted constructed set leaving all the heroes in omens for constructed without direction and ignoring their hero text.

I don’t think this is much of a hot take, but I think callings should be exclusively CC and Limited. Showdowns already exist for Sage and are at every event. I mainly say this as someone who is pretty local to calling Portland and sad that it’s Sage and not CC.
