Should say one thing I don't like is the origin class system the mod has where all the origin classes have a unique, story fitting class that you're only suppose to have one level in. But just feels a bit clunky so I just respeced em all out of it lol.

Trying out a new BG3 overhaul called Chocolate Edition that's very vanilla++. Only level 3 atm but it's been very good, you can def make some interesting builds and the mod gives you a few new tools but it's not too freeform like Homebrew.

With a good mix of constraint and freedom over a build, you can have players build their own really interesting playstyles for themselves that feel like they chiseled that shit out of pure bedrock. I hope I make any bit of sense lol.

The mod's attunement system is fantastic and I adore how it stops you from just slapping on all your best gear and makes items you'd never equip have a use case. But I wish it kept equipment proficiency, let the player need to make even more tangible sacrifices for a build they want to make.

I've played BG3's Homebrew mod quite a bit and do like it as you can make alot of neat character builds with it. But that texture and roughness of building a character just isn't there really. Like being able to make what you want and have it work really well is a bit too easy?

It's really hard to explain honestly. Like with something like ER's Convergence you aren't really given a big bucket of random tools to go nuts with even if it's very messy and barely works, you're sort of given a coloring sheet and 2 colors to fill it out with.
