I'm not one for buying more clothing, but I need this in my life!

Solstice @spookysheep.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Threw my back out a couple months ago doing literally nothing. Hurts to even sit or lay down... but I'm getting better as the days go by. Finally was able to sit down (with some pain lol) and start on a new art piece. Hopefully I'll have some WIPs up soon.

Thank you for trading prints with me! Love your work, and was admiring your table the entire event :D

Thank you to everyone who visited me at FurSwap! I had a wonderful time hanging out and talking with everyone!

I haven't had a library card in many years, but recently acquired one back in April. Since then, I've read fifteen books and DNF three others. Highly recommend :)

I did this several months ago and promptly forgot about it. Anyway, love these little guys. #pokemon

He still needs to be tested for a bunch of stuff before he gets a clean bill of health (crossing fingers he doesn't have FIV). He's gone from scared and spicy to a little love bug in just a day.

My birthday gifted me with a little feral black kitten on our back porch. Poor guy has a lot going on, but he has already been to the vet and is on the mend. He'll still be in lockdown for another two weeks, but our two kitty boys really want to meet the new baby, so I know they'll all get along :)

When I commission, I always say, "do what you want." I feel artists do their best work when they can just have fun.

Remember that you're making art for you first! The internet is just a viewer. Making what you enjoy is the most important thing for an artist. Personally, I would love to see older art reimagined :D

How I feel when I'm on the ferry to work doing art. A guy told me I was doing a "great job" last week and all I could think was, oh no it's not done!

With the amount of times I've drawn this guy, I really should name him. Traditional art.

Could put outdoor shelter(s) around. Adding heating pads would be good, but even just a soft place they can escape the weather with no frills would be helpful! They also make heated water bowls so outdoor water won't freeze.

Tripping over your own hair on a daily basis is something you don't ever get used to. Or stepping on it. Or having a chair roll over it and you don't realize until you try to get up.

Ack, I'm the "every 5 years" plan as well, even though there was nothing of note, zero polyps, zero anything. They just want to make sure since I guess it's unknown if colon cancer is hereditary.

Had my first colonoscopy a couple months ago (like, 6 years before the normal age due to my mom's cancer). Honestly, the prep was worse than the actual procedure. I didn't get sedated, either (and honestly? I recommend doing it that way). It's all for the good of you :D

Quite a few Gravitation songs have stayed in my songs/playlist this entire time... I mean, yeah, I have over 1000 songs in said list, but still!

Not yet dead, and not yet finished with this picture of Sunday. I need to start making smaller pictures so my wrist and hands don't go ouchie. #hsrsunday #honkaistarrail #traditionalart #wip

And maybe I asked the wrong people, but the couple of times I did use forms, I never got a reply. So I see artists use them and turn around.

010

Solstice @spookysheep.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

It's been awhile since I last commissioned someone, but I've never used forms. I look for their prices, and then contact them whatever way they mention. DM was used for the last two commissions. Forms are iffy for me, because I kinda feel like they might not get to where they need to be? 😅

Here in Seattle, we measure winter panic in bananas 😂 if you go to the store and notice the bananas are sparse or gone, you know we are about to go through something lol

Fortunately (unfortunately?), my favorite pokemon doesn't have very many cards at all... so I'm able to get a full set. He has a rare card coming out next expansion though, I hear!
