Another #LNGH! This time it’s Savage Streets! Excited to watch it with a crowd @destroythebrain.com

Spooky Rush @spookyrush.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Debated if I should take Monday off and get some lunch. Turns out everywhere I planned to go is closed on Mondays or doesn’t open until 4. So I just suffered at work instead

It was a fun time getting to watch Evilspeak in a theater and with a crowd. Always a fun watch @destroythebrain.com #LNGH

Sometimes I like to watch Bob Ross paint a dark forest that has an over abundance of sap green and yellow while listening to Renaissance’s Midas Man, Jimmie Spheeris’s I Am the Mercury, and Moody Blues’s When You’re a Free Man

So of course I ended up not being able to watch #TheLastDriveIn last Friday because my Internet went out a half hour before start time. Sometimes we just can’t have nice things @therealjoebob123.bsky.social @darcythemailgirl.bsky.social

If I come across a vid of someone showing something off and they tap their fingertips/fingernails on it, I will immediately skip the vid. I don’t care if it’s something I’m really interested in, I will skip

I remember when M&M’s removed tan for blue. Now they’re talking about retiring blue. Nothing makes one feel older than living thru two color changes involving the same color

First time watching a Friday night appletv baseball game and I have to say that probability area in bottom right is super distracting. Not the least of which is it’s useless information and it says the player name, which is redundant since it’s already at top left

I never got around to watching the movie of The Dead Zone until today. I read the book last year and was curious what would be different. Turns out, not much and I understand why Cronenberg left out what he did. Glad it kept in possibly my fav King ending

I’ll throw this out there for @therealjoebob123.bsky.social: Irish came to the US and had neighborhoods in cities, but Germans created whole towns of themselves in the Midwest. Not so many Irish towns but many German towns @darcythemailgirl.bsky.social #TheLastDriveIn

I got some bad news for @therealjoebob123.bsky.social if we’re only drinking liquors from the 14th century: bocks have been around since then but maibocks first came about in the 17th century 🤷🏻‍♂️ So I guess maibocks are off the list #TheLastDriveIn @darcythemailgirl.bsky.social

I met some really cool people thanks to #TheLastDriveIn. Even tho the glory days of meeting people was on the bird app it’s still been an oasis from the world to hang out every week/biweek/month/holiday. Grateful for all the interactions @therealjoebob123.bsky.social @darcythemailgirl.bsky.social

One of my fav moments of this year so far: ending of The Mist plays, House of Svengoolie comes back and Gwengoolie says “So…. That just happened” 🤣 that is the appropriate reaction

000

Spooky Rush @spookyrush.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Finally getting to watch House of Svengoolie without interruption. And it just so happens to be The Mist. Been a long time since I’ve watched it. Totally forgot the painting of Roland at the beginning. What a great easter egg

Spooky Rush @spookyrush.bsky.social · 15/02/2026

If you ever want to go down a rabbit hole, try to figure out if Frances Dade was born in 1907 or 1910 🤔 some sites say one or the other, and some say both #Dracula @svengoolieofficial.bsky.social

The only way I’ve been able to find this soundtrack of Dracula is when @svengoolieofficial.bsky.social shows it. I absolutely adore it because it makes the movie legit creepy. I really wish it could be made available to watch anytime

I may be one of a handful of people who actually doesn’t mind the Chinese Democracy album. Although that just may be because I really like Better, Sorry, This I Love, If the World. Also helps that I think of it as an Axl solo album
