Something I struggle a lot with in writing for a video game is introducing new characters without it just being like: *Slides onto screen* HEY GUYS, MY NAME IS THIS AND THESE ARE MY MOTIVATIONS!” *leaves* #indiegame #indiedev

I totally agree. If you’re making a game JUST to make “the next big game like Undertale”, you’re going about it all wrong. Your game should come from a place of passion and love, if you try making it just for it to become popular, it’ll inventively just feel soulless.

I loved the mini games and the interactions with Tenna but it does feel a little like wasted potential for what could have been a really cool darkworld. Again it wasn’t bad at all, I liked it a lot just the least among the other chapters. 2/2

—DELTARUNE CHAP 3 SPOILERS— (this is all just my opinion) Am I the only one who thought chapter 3 was a bit weak? Like don’t get me wrong I loved a lot of the moments and characters, Tenna and the weather crew were awesome. It just felt a bit empty 1/2 #deltarune

Of course many of you following me here do remember how to play. But watching my friends who hadn't played in years, many of them had no idea how to use PACIFY, that you can spare enemies on the same turn, how to skip text, etc.

they get reconfigured to the I, O and P buttons c: it's def not a *super* perfect execution of the idea tbh. later down the line I'll probably just have it so you can choose the button configs yourself lol
