An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
House House

A sneak peek of some backgrounds I'm working on for my friend's production, The Mystery of Sleepy Hollow! I have one illustration left to do, and I'm really excited to have it projected into HUGE PROPORTIONS at the back of the stage 🤩

Four close-up images of a series of theatre backdrops. 1: a section from an ornate colonial style window, with the night sky behind it. 2: footprints in the snow, as viewed form an upstairs window. 3: a silhouetted horse rearing up, with the moon behind it. 4: a woman's hand reaching up to a gloved male hand.

I recently picked Sonic Adventure DX back up (with the Dreamcast conversion mod, of course) and got a hankering for drawing Creatures #Sonic #SonicAdventure #Dreamcast

Today I taught a linoprinting class in my hometown, made extra money from a walk-in student, and from a guy who came in, sat at the bar to observe, and decided my teaching was so entertaining that he wanted to pay me for the opportunity to watch me work 😂

#rattober Day 5: Dragon Rat! I drew undies on him because his bölls are too powerful and need to be contained, but enjoy the freebölling version too! #rattober2026 #beansrattober #art #ratart #artsky

A cartoon rat stretched out like a Chinese style dragon, with long flowing whiskers and horns. A pair of white y front underwear preserves his modesty.

I've been reading up on the links between cortisol and insulin resistance too. So much makes sense, given I've lived a lifetime of pretty chronic stress. My health is getting so important to me now that if someone/something is a chronic stressor in my life I'm now immediately like "yeah, we're done"

But also, I'm done with the idea of doing it all to get slimmer? I just want a body healthy and strong enough to keep up with my friends, and to keep doing the wild shit gang I love to do

So naturally I've had to go online to do my own research. I've hated the idea of restriction for years now anyway, but now I'm all about eating to stay off the insulin resistance rollercoaster. Getting enough scran in me to avoid spikes and crashes, loads of protein, fibre and healthy fats etc

Maaaaan, so many doctors have PMOS all wrong. The amount of times I've been told "lose weight" or "eat at a calorie deficit" - today I've logged my usual amount of food, no restrictions, a few snacks, still not eating enough calories. Been eating like this for years and the deficit has done fuck all

I normally spend October reading Dracula and Frankenstein to get into the spooky spirit, but this year I'm switching it up a bit with Of Monsters and Mainframes by Barbara Truelove 😎 It's phenomenal and I'm having a great time reading it again.
