6. MLB The Show 202X. Now bear with me for a second. The Road To The Show mode is basically an ARPG. You create a custom character. You develop stats by grinding mini games and by succeeding in various phases of combat (fielding, pitching, batting etc). I am going to submit this to RPGLB one day lol
The cover art for MLB The Show 2025 featuring Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson.

POV: You're on vacation during #RPGLB2026
A point-of-view photo, taken in a hot tub with a bottle of a beverage of your choosing in one hand. Directly in front of you is a wall-mounted TV playing the livestream of RPG Limit Break 2026

5. Resident Evil 2 (1998), specifically the N64 port. This was my introduction to the Resident Evil franchise and in a way, my first ever speedrun. I used to love timing how fast I could get to RPD from a fresh start, and in the process I discovered the Brad Vickers Easter egg without a guide
The box art for Resident Evil 2 on the N64. It lists an ESRB rating of M for Mature, compatibility with the Rumble Pak, and with the N64 Expansion Pak.

4. Dragonforce. I only learned about this game in the past few years, but I picked it up and love its mechanics and style. There's simply nothing else like it on the Saturn, and few games like it elsewhere. It doesn't get much speedrunning love (shout out to Zanon) and I'd love to take a shot at it.
Box art for DragonForce on the Sega Saturn. It features Wein of the Highland faction leaping towards and preparing to swing a sword overhead at Mikhal of the Izumo faction. Overlaid on top of Mikhal is the text "Strategy RPG" in a difficult to read dark-gold font, and under that is the text "Working Designs Ultra Series" in an abrasive red italicized font. It was rated "Kids to Adults" by the ESRB, an outdated and obsolete rating that at the time basically just meant "it's not Mortal Kombat levels of blood and bodily harm".

3. Jet Force Gemini. Loved this game as a kid, but never finished it because it was so difficult to collect all the Tribals, even when following a guide. I'd love to come back to it as a speedrunner not only so I can finally properly beat the game, but so I can enjoy it again from a new perspective
Box art scan for Jet Force Gemini on the N64. It features the protagonists Vela, Juno, Lupus, and their drone Floyd in an action shot. Juno, Lupus and Floyd are running towards the "camera" and stage right as Vela fires a gun at a group of enemies pursuing them from behind, causing one of their pursuers to explode. Their enemies are anthropomorphized ants.

2. Ogre Battle Gaiden: The Prince of Zenobia is my big backburner project. As far as I have been able to find, there are no English-speaking speedrunners of this game. There is an incomplete fan translation patch and some GameFAQ guides. I intend to route and run this game as soon as work eases up.
Box art for Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. The text is all in Japanese because the game was never released outside of that market. It features a lone man, likely intended to be Prince Tristan, stands before a modest throne on a red carpet.

1. Unicorn Overlord is one of the big ones on my backlog. This was my personal game of the year when it came out and I'm still in love with the OST and artwork. I meant to start running this right after I finished my casual playthrough, but life got in the way and I still haven't gotten to it.
The alternative cover art for Unicorn Overlord. It is arranged in such a way that it calls to mind the SNES box art for Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen. Ogre Battle was a big inspiration for Unicorn Overlord.

Hopping on this trend for funsies. I've got quite a backlog built up due to work and personal life leaving very little time for learning/routing new games right now 😅
Image that says: "Get to know my speedrun backlog. 1 Like = 1 game I wanted to speedrun but didn't."

NYT with the hard-R on the anti-bot slur in their morning newsletter sure is something lmao
An image depicting two humanoid robots in red jerseys, two in blue jerseys, and an audience of humans in the background. The robots are on a sports field of some kind. One Red-jersey robot is on the ground with the other crouched down in front of it. The image caption reads "Clanker Olympics"

I mean to be honest I was never into Rodgers for the Jets anyway
The "friendship ended with -" meme, but very poorly edited to say "Friendship ended with Aaron Rodgers, Now Tyrod Taylor is my best friend." Includes poorly cropped pictures of Aaron Rodgers with green X's over them in the lower left and right corners, and a picture of Tyrod Taylor looking pretty sharp pasted in over the fellow on the right side of the meme. Lastly included is the author of the meme's profile picture, poorly cropped over the gentleman on the left.

Had this piece commissioned by The Tipsy Raccoon on Etsy as a surprise for my wife. The artist did an amazing job capturing our fur kiddos' likenesses! Check them out if you have pets you want made into a Magic card! www.etsy.com/shop/TheTips...
A design for a proxy magic card based on "Rin and Seri, Inseparable". The art has been replaced with custom artwork of Spockrocket's dog and cat, Dewey and Zelda and renamed to "Dewey and Zelda, Friends Furever". Dewey is a black lab mix with brown eyes, a white stripe of fur running down to his belly, and white paws speckled with black. Zelda is a domestic short-hair cat with green eyes, and black, white and brown fur mixed together all across her.

The card type is Legendary Creature - Dog Cat. Its casting cost is 1 mana of any color, 1 Red mana, 1 Green mana, and 1 White mana. It is a 4/4 with the following special text: "Whenever you cast a Dog spell, create a 1/1 green Cat creature token. Whenever you cast a Cat spell, create a 1/1 Dog creature token. RGW and tap: Dewey and Zelda, Friends Furever deals damage to any target equal to the number of Dogs you control. You gain life equal to the number of Cats you control."

Introduce yourself with 4 video games I could totally do a MySpace-style Top 8 instead, but these 4 would most likely be in the top spots.
The North American box art of Ogre Battle 64 for the Nintendo 64. It features a stylized purple-blue dragon wrapped around a red icon resembling a 4 bladed cross. The game box advertises that the game is exclusive to the N64, is compatible with the N64 Controller Pak, is single-player, and is rated T for Teens. The North American box art for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Collector's Edition for the Nintendo 64. The art features the titular Majora's Mask. The box art advertises that the game is exclusive to the N64, requires the N64 Expansion Pak, is designed for the N64 Rumble Pak, is single-player, and is rated E for Everyone. The North American box art for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The artwork features chunky 3D renders of Mario, Peach (a.k.a. Princess Toadstool) and Bowser. In the background you can make out Bowser's Castle which has been pierced by the sentient sword Exor. The box art advertises that the game is exclusive to Nintendo and contains the text "Mario returns in a wild new role-playing adventure!" The game is rated K-A, for Kids to Adults, a deprecated ESRB rating that has since been replaced by the "E" for Everyone rating. The North American box art for Persona 3:FES on the PlayStation 2. The artwork features the silhouette of the character Aigis superimposed over the Shin Megami Tensei logo, which itself resembles a pentagram but with the letters SMT and some additional symbols in the spaces between the points on the star. The game is rated M for Mature.

I am in awe at the Jets' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
