Took my car to the garage and they sent me a Google Glass style AR video, with tracked overlays of the health of various car parts. Exciting to see a genuine use case for this kinda wearable tech

I had the Studio 2 and it was a beautiful piece of hardware. I quite quickly ran out of USB bandwidth (didn’t know that was a thing) and had no way to upgrade the internals, so had to sell it, reluctantly.

Yeah good point - Whoop definitely gets less useful over time. I got what I wanted out of it though. I bet they have a big churn issue

I had Whoop but the lack of screen made it useless for running and it looked dumb wearing that and a watch at the same time. This is Bevel, which uses data from the Apple Watch but lets you use Whoop-like tags. You can create your own tags too.

Got an app that identifies why I don’t sleep. The reason is everything. Even drinking water.

Won’t be long until you’re rendering videos in the cloud anyway and in a few years I reckon you’ll be streaming your entire OS. Then local specs won’t matter

I got the MacBook Pro M3 Max, I think, but don’t use a fraction of the power given I live in the browser. My next machine might just be an Air. Goes up to 24GB of RAM

New Mac Mini looks very affordable for the base model which is now 16gb. All the upgrades are spenny though
