Making a superhero AU of my OCs cuz I can Here's Rowan! The idea for how his hero career progressed before he became a villain and then his fall into villainy is just like.. so clear in my head, it's his fault I latched on to the hero idea at all lmao [ #art #oc #ocsky #supervillainoc ]

Thanks for hosting! I'm Nicki, a digital artist primarily and I usually draw my OCs, only very occasionally drawing fanart or friend's OCs. Artstyle's going through a bit of a shift atm (ty artfight). Draw a bunch of fantasy stuff, that's my bread and butter. Here's my stuff;

Portrait of my OC Tech! He's like, Warforged adjacent? And is kind of supposed to evote a weird doll/puppet, in part. He has a pretty sharp face shape. He has very dark brown skin, long elf like ears, and fire hair. There's lines on his face, neck, and ears to demarcate various 'sections', including two at the edge of his mouth going down to the chin (hence the puppet comparison. His sclera is dark red and his irises are a bright gold. He wears a paler orange turtleneck, a faded red leather jacket (whose collar rides very high, and up and out, if that makes sense) and above the turtleneck but below the jacket is supposed to be like... a leather armor type deal, almost. Also a dark red.

Another Portrait, this of my OC Opal. She's supposed to almost evoke like a ghost bride type vibe, even though she is alive. She has pale skin and is wearing a white dress and veil. Her hair goes from a white/grayish color at the roots to a more pinkish red the further down you go. It's quite long, mostly straight and a bit messy. She has bangs, too, could cover her eyes, though they're moved out of the way enough to see a bloody blindfold. Blood drips down from one eye to her chin, and there's like, bloody tear marks down her face. She's also wearing a pearl necklace with a gem at the end, I think the pendant was supposed to be either an opal or a moonstone? I don't remember. It's a pale blue, though.

More portraits! This one of my OC Grace. Normal human looking girl, with black, very curly hair (was aiming for 4c? Dunno if I succeeded though). She has bangs covering one eye and the rest of her hair tied up in a messy-ish bun. She's wearing a dark purple hoodie and her visible eye is purple. She's a black woman with a deeper skintone

Reference sheet of my OC Em! Made it for artfight, pretty proud. The ref sheet includes two close-ups of her eyes (one close-up being normal looking and with her eyes gold in color, one with like... combo snake+goat pupils, with one eye being green and one being purple), a closeup of her glasses (round and tinted pink), then three full body images. One is her in skintight grey suit, just to show off her body type much better than her outfits would allow (she's chubby with larger breasts) without risking breaking various platforms TOS lol. One is of her normal outfit, which is a dark green dress with a wide skirt, a white apron, and then a red hood/shawl thing thrown on top. With red shoes/white stockings, and white gloves. Also some gold accents on like, the chain that helps keep the hood on. Then the third full body has an alternative outfit, a long, dark green turtleneck dress with a white heart on the front that is a little more form fitting. It has short sleeves, but the dress cuts off at the ankle. No shoes for this one, she wears it at home and just goes around in her stockings. The ref has no shading, but I put the colors aside for easy sampling regardless.

Em herself has pale skin, dark brown hair, and freckles. Her eyes switch between the two modes described above.

This will take a while, between other obligations and me just drawing things in between working on this; but I had an idea to do some sprites for Em and at least one other character. Do a series of fake visual novel screenshots with'em. Fun way to convey story stuff Here's the current #wip for Em

A redesign of a character cuz the first one wasn't... great. Need to work on her a bit more probably but this one is at least much better. (Didn't feel like doing much to render the hair on this one tbh, think it still looks good tho) [ #art #oc #ocsky ]

First time rendering locs in this style! Tbh if the hair is black I usually go entirely graphic cuz I like the look buuut best to actually practice it in this style y'know. And I think it came out alright for a first attempt! [ #art #oc ]

Before artfight started I made sure to get at least some kind of full body ref up on all my OCs and here's the sketch ref for Doc! No promises but I have a goal of getting four more full ref sheets done in time for next year's artfight [ #art #ocsky ]

More of that good ol' style practice, and like... this is super fun. Lowkey wondering if I'll be changing my style entirely lol Anyway, civillian mask for a character! Will properly show off who the mask belongs to eventually. That guy has so many tattoos it's taking so long to design #art #ocsky

Need to remember to post more WIPs and things... anyway after that Fir drawing I've decided to keep messing around with that painterly style more since it was so much fun and I've always loved the look, and oh boy! Liking the process a ton #wip #art #ocwip

Will completely take over the color of one eye, usually. So for example, with Xavier's dream appearance (shown below), Green/Pink is shown in one eye because of personality/skill reasons, red completely takes over the other eye because it's magic from a god.

SplitInTwo -Team Mystery @splitintwo.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Idk if I'll post this on my insta at any point but yay for a bit of a lore thing I got done! Basically in the Mirage Hall and the Dream it occupies within these 9 colors connect to specific things/characteristics a person may have and this is just going over the most important bits with each one

#WIP This is an attack for ArtFight so I don't wanna show much, but I think this is the closest I have ever gotten to emulating this kind of style tbh. Shocking to no one except myself, a more painterly style benefits from treating it a little like painting. Wow, can't believe it lmao

Attack on Ramona for 87_Fnaf on Artfight! Bookmarked her before the event, she was pretty and got a chance to hit her so. Remembered gradient overlays were a thing too so decided to mess with that again [ #artfight #artfight2026 #artfightteammystery ]

Character is Ramona by 87_Fnaf. She's a blasian character, very pink and purple in terms of clothes. Dark skin, very long straight hair (down to her ankles basically). Wears like a crop top hoodie (pink in color) with long baggy pants (pink/purple gradient thing) and a pink belt. White shoes. Drew her with red-ish pink lipstick and blush cuz I thought it was cute. Has a flower hairpin, think it's a hibiscus? Don't actually know, just that the flower petals are pink towards the outside and white on the inside.

Here's 87_Fnaf's artfight link: https://artfight.net/~87_fnaf
