Trying out beaded crochet for the first time!! It is very fun, even if arthritis doesnt think so lol. I am surprised by how weighty just this little bit is so far. Starting with a pillow size to learn and not be too overwhelmed, very excited at the fidget pillow potential! #Crochet #FiberArt #Pride

The first 16 rows of a pony bead crochet pillow. The yarn used is a bright pastel blue, while the bead color pattern is yellow, purple, white, pink, light blue, cream, black, red, orange, green, and dark blue which repeats in that order. The crochet project is resting on an old cream quilt with a blue rose and green leaves pattern.

Snail rodeo The one on top is Slugma and the one on the bottom is Mr. Octopus, named by my niece :)

A photo of two mystery snails in the corner of a fishtank, with one snail stacked on top of the other nearly perfectly centered. The bottom snail has a pink and cream colored body, a brown shell with darker brown swirls, and their eye stalks and breathing tube visibly out. The snail on top has a dark blue body with copper speckles, a dark brown shell with lighter brown swirls, and their trap door is visible, resembling a polypore mushroom.

An art piece by TwinklingToad of a frog and butterfly baking fruit pies together. The frog is stirring the remaining filling while the butterfly lays a star crust piece atop the third filled pie.
The caption says, "You're doing okayer than you think, buddy"

Ooh more books came in, I am so excited for this winter reading season! Get ready for lots of quotes and prompted personal antidotes!

A photo of three books lying flat on a wooden desk with an embroidered cottage scene behind them.
The books are from left to right:
Born Both: An Intersex Life by Hida Vilgria
For Times Such As These: A Radical's Guide to the Jewish Year by Rabbi Ariana Katz and Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg
Wild Faith: How the Christian Right is Taking Over America by Talia Lavin

The energy I'm bringing into 2025

A comic strip by Komik Trips that reads, "Frogs are generally not agressive toward humans and prefer to avoid confrontation. But not this one, he's got a knife."

They have arrived!!! The piggy bat is named Penelope after the Christina Ricci movie and the mushroom is named Fly after Fly Agaric mushrooms 🥰 (Switch for size comparison)

A photo of two giant squishmallows sitting atop a black and white comforter with a switch console below them.
The squishmallow on the left is a mushroom resembling a Fly Agaric and the squishmallow on the right is a pink and yellow bat with a pig nose.

Baby dragon timeline cleanse His name is Lichen and his familiar's name is Frog #FlightRising

From the browser pet simulation game Flight Rrising.
A scene of a patchwork baby veilspun dragon that has butterfly wings, sitting atop a giant lillypad in an overgrown pond much larger than him.
His body is shades of blue, white and black. His wings are shades of green, yellow, and black. He has long hair flowing from the top of his head down the sides of his body and bangs above his green eyes.
To his right on a smaller lillypad is his familiar, a lotus tortoise. Their shell is dark green with a pink and yellow lotus atop their back. Their stomach is a lighter shade of green and they have a pink and yellow mohawk of lilly leaves down the back of their long neck.
There are lillypads of various sizes surrounding them in the pond, as well as different growth stages of pink and yellow lotuses.
The grass around the pond resembles sea kelp and towers above them like trees.

✨ Rubber Ducky Isopod timeline cleanse ✨

A photo of a rubber ducky isopod sitting atop bright green moss and tiny sticks.
The helmet portion of its shell is yellow, with what looks like an orange beak and black spots seeming as eyes, making it appear as a rubber ducky.
It's cute little feelers are poking around the moss, looking for its next snack.

CW: Food Made a pantry cheesecake (cheesecake from ingredients on hand) and the texture turned out divine. Housemate says the taste is really good, too. 🍜

A perfectly golden cheesecake, without cracks, still in the pie plate. It's sitting on my black and white floral patterned comforter with a fork resting atop each side.

A meme of a punk version of Cinderella wearing a respirator that says,
"you have to stay alive. You're going to be such a beautiful middle aged freak, young freaks will see you in the street and know that things can be okay".

A simple watercolor painting of a fat raccoon sitting upright on its bum.
Written in blue paint above the raccoon is the phrase, "Get loved, loser. Get absolutely fucking treasured" with a blue heart as punctuation.

My favorite Echidna facts: • The babies are called puggles. • They deviate from the mammalian norm, both sexes have pouches for their young. • They can move their quills individually like fingers. • They have the lowest body temperatures of any mammal on the planet. • They don't have any teeth.

A photo of a baby echidna, known as a puggle, sitting sideways on a pink hand towel. It's chubby, without its quills, and its front claws are reaching forward to touch its other toes.

It is a meme of two frogs standing bipedal in a sunny meadow.
The frog on the left is green and yellow with a white tummy and a tear it's eye, holding it's hands out, frightened.
It has the caption, "Me" above it's head.
The frog on the right is a speckled mixture of dark and light blues, holding a knife in it's left hand with an attack stance.
It has the caption, "THEM THOUGHTS" above it's head.
