working on original novel stuff with the coauthors. Getting cuteness aggression over our own main character. I'm going to bite him.

a lineart sketch of Rich Merrill, whose supersoldier genetics render him the approximate size and shape of a very muscular fridge, but whose expression is extremely flushed and anxious as he looks down at the viewer with his shirt off.

A digital sketch from behind of a man with his arms behind his back, showcasing the muscle in his arms and stomach and the curve of his spine

Rich throwing a shy, sidelong look off-screen, relaxing back in just a pair of swim trunks with one hand draped over his thigh

Rich in swim trunks, standing on one leg to pick at something on his foot, showing off a soft stomach and lots of beef. His much smaller friend Liam is standing beside him in a very short and flirty sarong, staring unabashedly at his ass with a huge smile on his face.

i do not roll over like a motherfucking hound

A very stylized drawing of Gamzee, contorted to fit into the box of the canvas. The majority of the image is vivid purple, with bright red highlights on Gamzee's claws, horns, fangs, and the three scars across his face. In the corner over his shoulder, is written the lyrics "I COULD BURN YOUR MOTHERFUCKING VILLAGE TO THE GROUND".

Definitely read the full list of warnings on the AO3 post before going near the actual fic, I suppose is the takeaway. But also I'm very proud of both the writing and the art I've done for it. 😤 Love all these spooky eldritch little guys.

A digital illustration of several photos and forms with the Skaia Network letterhead. One is of Jade, a dark-skinned woman with bright green eyes and a dimpled, buck-toothed smile. The other form is for Gamzee, and is mostly obscured by photographs. Two are personal photos; one of a teenage Gamzee in face paint throwing up a juggalo hand sign, with his arm around a yelling Karkat, and one of Gamzee as a young man, looking out into a sunset and exhaling a plume of smoke. The other two photographs are shot at similar angles, contrasting Gamzee before and after his time with The Scratch; in one his skin and eyes are brown, his hair is curly but neatly cut and he's smiling pleasantly, and in the photo beside it his hair is overgrown, his skin is unnaturally blue-grey and covered in scars, and his eyes are bright violet. He's snarling off-screen, and a sign reading "The Scratch - APOSTLE" is held in front of his chest in the style of a police mugshot.

A black and white illustration of many different versions of Gamzee, overlapping and fragmented. The clearest face is looking upward in rapture toward a light, with a glowing halo made of dozens of clock hands, while a second face bleeding from the mouth and nose hunches forward and screams in agony. He's surrounded by a spread of other faces with expressions of fear, rage, terror, and delight, and disembodied fragments of glowing eyes and screaming mouths.

An illustration of Karkat with red-brown chitin growing in spikes across his nose, cheeks, jaw and neck. His visible eye is entirely red with a glowing white pupil, and he's baring his fangs in rage, but there's a tear running down his cheek.

A digital illustration of Eridan and Feferi, looming threateningly toward the camera. Eridan is in the background, harshly backlit until his face is entirely shadow except for golden light inside his mouth and his eyes. Feferi is caught in mid-snarl, with several rows of needle-like teeth, flared fuchsia gills, and stripes of dark scales across her cheeks and shoulders.

If you like pale #GamKar, flush #DaveKat, hurt/comfort, Alternia-is-basically-Gotham vigilante nonsense, ensemble fics, and religious horror, this one's for you. If you can't handle that coming with mentions of mental/physical/spiritual/emotional torture...perhaps it's not! Use your best judgment 😌👍

Oh hey I'm bad at crossposting but. Every wednesday over on my AO3 there's a new chapter of the #gamkar vigilante/winter soldier pastiche I started like a decade ago and finally finished a few months ago. Karkat Vantas Vs The Evil Gods: archiveofourown.org/works/613486...

A digital illustration of a human Karkat and Gamzee, warmly lit and softly blurred; Gamzee's eyes are out of frame and hazy but his wide smile is clear, as is a gold ring on his ring finger as he touches Karkat's cheek.

A digital illustration of Gamzee, echoing the previous warm/soft illustration in composition; his smile is painfully strained and unnatural, there's sweat, blood and tears on his face, and his eyes are glowing. A hand is cupping his cheek from off-frame, wearing a white glove and white suit jacket.

A digital illustration of a desk with a personnel form and several photographs on it; the form has a letterhead for the Skaia Network, and Karkat's name on it. The photographs show him first as a young man with dogtags, appearing completely human, then bloodstained and monstrous with jagged spikes of chitin on his shoulders and forehead, glowing red eyes and bloody fangs. The final photograph shows him somewhat older, with only small spikes of carapace and no visible dogtags.

A digital illustration of a form and several photographs on a desk; the form has the letterhead of the Skaia Network and profiles The Scratch as a supernatural, malevolent gang. The photographs show Doc Scratch as a man in a white suit with a featureless white mask, and a member of the gang standing at the end of a dark alley in the rain, with a streetlight and his glowing eyes providing the only illumination.

Someone on tumblr requested my favorite #onepiece pairing and tbh there are a lot of great options but I'm a sucker for boss/right hand man. If we were both pirates and I couldn't swim would you hold my hand while I napped so I didn't drift away...........like an otter.........

A digital illustration of Zoro and Luffy; Luffy is lounging on the railing of a ship with his hat tipped over his eyes in the afternoon sun. His arm is thrown around the shoulders of Zoro, who is sitting on the deck next to him with one of his swords propped across his chest as though on guard. Their pinkies are hooked together. Luffy is smiling, open mouthed as though talking or laughing, or possibly snoring. Zoro is facing away, but his eye is turned as though he's glancing back and he's smirking faintly.

part two: "My Tumblr Followers Know Me Very Well And A Million Of Them Asked For Clowns, Clown Church, Pale #Gamkar, Or A Combination" edition lollll

A collection of digital sketches, selectively colored. One drawing of Gamzee as a small child, hugging his knees in the surf with no paint on his face, smiling up adoringly; there's a large, white hoof on the sand next to him, implying he's looking up at his lusus. Half of the remaining sketches are pale scenes between Gamzee and Karkat; Karkat cleaning deep gashes on Gamzee's back, Gamzee painting Karkat's face in highblood style and blushing deeply, Karkat laughingly cursing about getting paint on his face as Gamzee kisses his cheek, and Gamzee hanging on Karkat and visibly falling asleep, mumbling incoherent affection. The remaining sketches are worldbuilding concepts for the highblood religion. Two patterns for paint to indicate good or bad news about the wearer's quadrants. A comparison of Subjugglators, which are conceptualized as brightly-dressed frontline warriors in clown-inspired paints with loud or violent weapons, versus laughsassins in plain, dark clothes and mime-inspired paint, with stealthy assassination weapons. Two original characters are shown performing ritualized gestures and phrases; one drawing an X across his throat with one thumb, accompanied by the words "If I lie, let me die, and messiahs tear up my ticket", and the other drawing pinched fingers apart as though pulling a knot tight accompanied by "Forgive the ill-speaking of my kin".

Digital sketches or Karkat with widely-dilated pupils and flushed cheeks, in varying states of pale debauchery; having his horns rubbed, his throat kissed, or his back rubbed. In the bottom corner, he rants incoherently while someone repeatedly says his name, and finally grips his throat and one wrist to pin him down and firmly shoosh him.

A colored digital comparison of xeno headcanons for land- and seadwelling trolls. Both are pictured with padded hands and chitinous claws, which cover the entire last joint of their fingers on the palm, and extend down to the knuckles on the back of the hand. Seadweller fingers are noted to be much more spindly, with webbing between each finger. Seadweller fangs are drawn as even and sawtoothed, while landwellers have large eyeteeth and smaller fangs in between. Eridan is pictured with broad, oval pupils, while a side note shows Feferi's eyes with W-shaped cuttlefish pupils.

woe, a million #homestuck request night requests (and cubes) be upon ye. Several of these subsequently became the sketches for my Beta Kid god tiers!

A collection of digital sketches. 1: The Signless smiling and blushing as a much taller and more muscular Disciple rests a hand on his throat and says something in his ear. 2: Jade with three heads and six arms showing her canine, human, and a god tier mixture of the two. 3: Eridan leaning out of his recuperacoon chewing absently at his thumbnail as he reads a book. 4: Terezi quizzically licking a sexily-posed statue of a wizard, while Roxy hesitantly sticks her tongue out to do the same. 5: Tavros sitting on the ground with wings and mechanical legs, smiling uncertainly up at the viewer. 6: Equius looking flustered with his hands drawn up to his chest as Nepeta leans into his lap to pat his cheek. Each drawing is accompanied by a screenshot of a tumblr ask requesting the character/pairing.

A collection of digital sketches. 1: Sollux hovering in the air while his psionics spell "FUCK OFF" in the air behind him. His appearance has been embellished with honeycomb tattoos on both arms, cargo pants and a shirt that reads "DOOMED". 2: Karkat and Gamzee curled on something soft, surrounded by diamonds, with Gamzee caught in the act of kissing Karkat's forehead. 3: Eridan sneering and pointing a wand at the viewer with his rifle over his shoulder, wearing a tailored vest and greatcoat. 4: Davesprite, pictured with downy feathers across is chest and arms and three-fingered scaled hands reminiscent of a bird's feet. 5: Aradia and Dave with gear-inspired halos, dramatically posing. 6: Spades Slick with hearts and question marks around his head, as Ms Paint smiles and rests a hand on his shoulder. 7: John looking back over his shoulder, silhouetted against a halo of disembodied hands performing different gestures. Each drawing is accompanied by a screenshot of a tumblr ask requesting the character/pairing.

A collection of digital sketches. 1: Rose grimacing in rage and sorrow, dripping dark liquid from the corner of her mouth and one blank eye. 2: Gamzee leaning over Karkat's shoulder exclaiming in amazement at something, as Karkat growls at him to shut the fuck up. Karkat's eyes are very darkly-rimmed, his noise is broad and flat, and his hair meets the corners of his brows and trails down his jaw. Gamzee has long ears with small, seadweller-like fins, and flat, sideways pupils like a goat. 3: Spades Slick and the Mayor, drawn with an eye to the possibly segmentation of chitin on a mobile face or hand. 4: Bro Strider holding a sword in one hand and gripping the edge of a hoverboard with the other, apparently caught in the act of a sick stunt. 5: Caliborn grimacing in disgust with his crowbar raised as thought to hit something.

A digitally-colored pencil drawing of the Helmsman, presented as a saint. His limbs are amputated below the elbows and above the knees, and there are metal ports installed in his chest and stomach, but he's wearing a necklace of the sign cancer around his neck and wrapped in a bright red cloth. He's haloed by a golden ring of rays that resemble the sign gemini, and a pair of semi-translucent arms made of red and blue psionics are hovering next to the stumps of his missing forearms

A digital drawing of the Signless and the Psionic, imitating the biblical story of Doubting Thomas. The Psionic has opened his shirt to show a muted red and blue glow between his ribs, as though his heart is producing light internally. He's smiling indulgently as the Signless lays a hand over it, looking delighted.

"One by one, the Nobles will come, only to discover the remains of those who worshiped them." (2/2)

A digital painting of a god tier Dirk Strider in the style of a saint or deity: one central god tier body, standing in front of a cracked mirror with his hands raised, his crowned and severed head framed between his palms, and two headless, ghostly bodies of his dream self and his pre-god-tier self flanking him and reaching out toward it as well. His halo is a glowing diagram of a krypton atom.

A digital painting of a god tier Roxy Lalonde in the style of a saint or deity: she sits cross-legged, hovering in the space between two glowing windows, with a backdrop of space behind her. Her halo is a diagram of a neon atom, contained in the darkness of a black hole; Roxy is smiling and the accretion disk of the black hole is glowing and trailing from her hands as she gestures.

A digital painting of a god tier Jane Crocker in the style of a saint or deity: she's approaching the viewer through a gray landscape, and green grass and leaves are springing up on the ground and branches nearest to her. The crocker tiaratop hovers in front of her, and she's holding a bright red trident behind her back, but she's smiling brightly as the aspect symbol for Life bursts out of her bleeding chest. Her halo is a glowing diagram of a helium atom, one side filled with green spirals and the other red circuitry.

( #homestuck nostalgia trip continues with some of my favorite portraits I've ever done) "It is only today you will be given a name" (1/2)

A digital painting of a god tier Rose Lalonde in the style of a saint or deity: she's using her wands to draw a glowing halo surrounded by flames, suggesting the Light aspect symbol, and she's surrounded by dark purple tendrils that are shrinking from the light.

A digital painting of a god tier Dave Strider in the style of a saint or deity: one glowing gear shape acts as his halo, while two more on either side of him act as portals; he reaches forward through one, and his left hand emerges behind him to hold a sword to his own throat, while his right hand holds his own wrist as though to push the sword away from him or guide it closer. He's circled by flowing lava and two stylized crows, one in the process of losing its wing, and one stabbed through the chest.

A digital painting of a god tier Jade Harley in the style of a saint or deity: she's pictured as a six-armed, three-headed being with a spirograph for a halo, against a backdrop painted to look like a nebula. Her central head and body are god tier, with canine ears, sharp teeth and glowing eyes. Her left head is fully human and carries a rifle, hands raised in wonder, and her right head is fully canine, snarling and raising human hands full of green lightning. Three planets orbit Jade's halo, and two more float in the palms of her hands.

A digital painting of a god tier John Egbert in the style of a saint or deity: he's hovering between two glowing versions of Homestuck's 'house' symbol, one leg and one hand vanishing into the light, looking back at the viewer over his shoulder with a mischievous smile. The halo backlighting him is gold, with bright blue hands performing different gestures in every cell of it.

I honestly don't care much about posting at certain times, I just go through drastic spikes and drops of my executive function RE: posting or reblogging/reposting things, and I like being able to queue those up to just post like, one a day. So, not something I intend to pay money for no, haha.

you can't fight the role the Mother had in store for you (3/3)

A digital portrait of Nepeta crouching as though preparing to pounce on the viewer, painted in shades of olive green to black. She's smiling mischievously and uplit, her face largely in shadow except her fangs and slit-pupilled eyes.

A digital portrait of Solux holding his forehead and bleeding from the nose, painted in shades of yellow to black. There's a knot of glowing psionic power visible between his fingers, and more bolts coming off of his body like electricity.

A digital portrait of Tavros leaning on his lance and looking ruefully away from the viewer, painted in shades of brown to black. He has rings in his ears and nose, and looks worried or sad despite his smile.

A digital portrait of Aradia absolutely leering out of the dark, painted in shades of rust red to black. Her eyes have horizontal slit pupils like a goat's, and her hair is thick and curly like wool. Her smile is very cheerful but very ominous. This ends the photoset.

A digital portrait of Equius, painted in shades of midnight blue to black, holding a disembodied robotic head and looking into its eyes.

A digital portrait of Vriska grinning and brandishing glowing dice between her claws, painted in shades of cerulean to black. Her missing eye is in shadow, and her pupils on that side glow out of the dark.

A digital portrait of Terezi grinning, painted in shades of teal to black. Her eyes are blank and glowing slightly, and her cheeks, neck, and arms are all visibly scarred by cuts and burns.

A digital portrait of Kanaya advancing on the viewer, painted in shades of jade green to black. On the illuminated side of her body, her skirt is swirling and she's holding a tube of lipstick, while on the dark side the silhouette of her chainsaw is visible in her other hand.

A digital portrait of Karkat snarling, painted in shades of red to black, with his eyes, fangs, sign, and bleeding nose unnaturally bright red.

A digital portrait of Feferi smiling out of the dark, painted in shades of fuchsia to black, up-lit by a glowing cuttlefish cradled in her arms

A digital portrait of Eridan reaching upward toward an unseen light source, painted in shades of violet to black. He looks anguished; there are trickles of bright violet running down his raised arm and his face, implying blood and tears.

A digital portrait of Gamzee, split at the waist into two upper bodie back to back, painted in shades of purple to black. One body is smiling over its shoulder, and the other has its claws raised angrily and is caught mid-scream, bleeding from three gashes across its face.
