You made me curious, and I flipped through it. The orange flyleaves are amazing! I also think you had a good sense of placement of all the text, it is readable, and it is a good call to add handwritten notes and all that. And nice paper choice too! Got nothing to complain ;)

I love what Tippett says, by the way. I can totally see what he means. It is also a trait of bad leadership to micromanage everything and not trust experienced people and their vision.

Digital was a vortex of photorealism I couldn't turn off. I ended up hating what I did.

It is one of the reasons why I quit digital art before I quit art altogether. Digital art wasn't messy enough, and I started working on every detail, while when I worked traditionally- and this is what my prof liked- I went in there embracing all the happy accidents.

I still haven't looked at it because I plan to review it as my first look. I will let you know how much it sucks in the video ;)

I hope we are returning there, not just for the obvious reasons that mean the work I do finds more buyers, but also because it might lead to people specializing in something, and them being the person of a specific genre, mood, or item is far more exciting than looking at 10k generalists.

Hm, but daredevil in general went downhill before. I didn't feel like the previous attempt really improved with each added season.

I am biased, but I'd say, buy books again and log off. And find inspiration mainly elsewhere, like Björn, who looks a lot at fashion to avoid that exact problem. Books also cost money, which makes you think twice. It is the big difference between endless scrolling through material until you stop.

It also feels like the avant-garde has died out and has been replaced with pointless efforts to mimic that direction. Less innovation, and of course I also blame AI for exactly that. This game was absolutely incredible. I spent so much time with it. A remade version with modern elements would be great. And apparently there is a new Voyager game coming out? I saw it at Gamescom.

People asked me to sign their stuff in the past, but I always said I don't do that. As I was invited to promote, etc., I was already briefed by Andy Chambers and Marc Gascoigne that I would just have to suck it up and do my part. I know how this works, but I just suck at taking my own advice.
