some type swaps for a dex i've been chipping away at [ #spiralianscribbles #pokemon #fakemon ]

a water/bug-type zigzagoon line based on polychaetes. zigzagoon is red instead of brown, with no limbs and two sharp mandibles in place of its usual carnivoran mouth. linoone is smooth and segmented, with its head, tail, and appendages being the only hairy parts. the rest of its body is black with a red stripe running its length

a fire/ghost-type espurr line. both pokemon are smooth and hairless with black pits in place of eyes. espurr's tail and the fur on its forehead have been replaced with wisps of smoke. the same is true of meowstic- in addition to the fur making up its collar- who bears a tired expression with small white pupils in its empty eye sockets

a steel-type pincurchin based on a hedgehog. it's patterned much like togedemaru, with a white underside, a grey back, and yellow tips on the ends of its quills

a bug-type togedemaru based on pillbugs. it has six legs and two lightning-bolt-shaped antennae. its face, palette, and general body shape are otherwise the same- down to keeping the triangular markings on its back

fakemon scribbles. worms are for a still-in-limbo project with a different type chart which is why they're "ghoul" over ghost [ #spiralianscribbles #fakemon ]

a rough sketch of a dog-like fakemon evolution line. the first stage is a tired-looking dog with droopy features and lots of growths on its head and back. it's a pure poison-type named "oncthrus". its evolution is longer and more greyhound-esque. its tumors have grown into structures like heads on long necks, with sharp "teeth". its tail has also mutated into a mouth. it's a poison/dragon-type named "carcynogen"

a rough sketch of some fakemon. the first is a lobopodian mon with large jaws, holding its head upright such that they're more like antlers than insect or worm mandibles. a doodle off to the side shows what its face looks like at rest, with two dopey dot eyes. the lobopod mon is named "hadrelk". the other two fakemon featured are an evolution line somewhat like opabinia. the first stage is a squat bug with five frog-like eyes and a long tongue ending with two finger-like appendages. it evolves into a more worm-like shape. rearing up like scolipede. its tongue is longer. its legs are larger, and its body is lined with small flipper-like appendages. the first stage is named "utazard" and its evolution is named "pabizard"
