I had the distinct pleasure of discovering a green and growing liminal space to disconnect from this world and just read in for a few hours last weekend.

A single green bench sits empty on the side of a cracked and disused concrete road that seems to end in tall grass and woods in the background.

This is me at Gen Con dressing up as my D&D 2e character, Byron Stark, a Priest of Mystra/Dimensionalist Wizard. Cosplaying this character has been a multi-year project--picture 1 is my first attempt at Byron when he was just a few levels old back in 2014! The other is this year, older and wiser.

Myself, kneeling atop a hotel bed with one knee, taking a mirror selfie in an attempt to capture my whole outfit. I am wearing black bracers with light blue swirling embroidery. I have on a blue tabbard over a white shirt which is held to my waist with a (difficult to see) belt featuring gold running lion decorations. Sitting on the bed in next to my booted foot is a new looking roll top leather backpack. The boot also appears quite new.

Myself, standing in a large stadium, dressed in a wizard hat and other garb, looking off into the distance. I am wearing several necklaces, one of which is a Holy Symbol of Mystra. A leather backpack is slung over my right shoulder. My blue and white robes are tucked under a blue and purple shawl that is wrapped around my waist and held fast with two different belts: one decorated with running lions, and one with simple studs. A belt pouch and a gold mug are hanging from the studded belt. I am wearing black leather bracers with light blue swirling embroidery, and blue and white beads adorn my left wrist. The leather backpack and bracers are the same as picture 1, but looking a bit more weathered.
