Keep forgetting to show them off here, but figured I might as well post my new "me" sonas (for lack of a better term, idk if there is one) over here, since Dyto's already popped up once already. #SpinSlashArt

Reference sheet for Dyto the Beetle, an anthromorphic orange beetle with dark red plates and limbs.

Text, clockwise from top right:
"Dyto the Beetle (specific type undecided)"
"Inner-most toe is larger"
"Middle finger is larger+longer than other two"

Reference sheet for Sweep the Frog, a Sonic-styled orange frog.

Text, clockwise from top right:
"SWEEP the Frog"
"Pupils only visible when distressed or upset"
"Hand back" and "Foot underside"
"Sort of Big-ish build"

Oh, happy birthday Crash. Haven't really had much energy lately to do something for it. Instead I'll dig up this old piece I did almost a DECADE ago. It's one of the few non- graphic design things on my old DeviantArt page that I didn't move to the scraps, since I do still like it. #SpinSlashArt

An old "mockup" artwork (done in Autodesk Sketchbook rather than FireAlpaca like I do now) from around 2018-2019-ish(?), depicting a Spike from Crash of the Titans riding in the default kart from Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

Sorry guys I killed Lamet and turned him into a robot for good.... Jk I decided to finally get a reference sheet done by @spinslash165.bsky.social of a Metal Lamet! He's a potential replacement for Lamet if he croaks, but he's gotta learn how to actually act like him with his limited judgement.

Artwork reference of a Metal Lamet. His reserved for mostly having his face hidden underneath his helmet as well as anything draconic would be hidden. His powered up/true form would be more close to his actual look with a snout protruding from the helmet, limbs becoming thicker, and his boots becoming more claw-like alongside his backside protruding a tail that can act like a flail.

These guys were getting some attention, so I wanted to show off some of the initial rough sketches I'd made of them before creating their sprites. Some of them have since become fully fledged characters in my mind, maybe they'll appear again someday? #ocart #dinosaurs

Various loose digital sketches of dinosaur characters.
Clockwise from the top: a blue pteranodon, a black pachycephalosaurus, a red utahraptor standing beside a green triceratops, and various smaller doodles of the aforementioned characters.

The once-in-a-blue-moon Blender urge hit, so did yet another Flare blockout thing. Most likely won't go anywhere, but one day I wanna properly figure out how to model things. I wanna stuff my characters (OCs *and* favourites) into more than just 2D games and SRB2/RR... #SpinSlashArt #2STWildFire

A split viewport of Blender (actually a fork called "Bforartists") showing a very rudimentary Flare "model", made of primitive shapes/meshes.
On the left is a freely-angled viewpoint, showing a somewhat 3/4th angle, and on the right are two viewports stacks atop each other, a side-on and front-on view respectively.
Behind each angle, parts of a reference sheet of Flare can be seen.

This was Tex's idea. I don't like it either.

To be fair the colouring differences and Flare's overly simplified face marking were my ideas, the horn nose and overall concept was Tex's.

Also I screwed up the white colours somehow oops

Flare and Ryder in their Sonic-styled designs, though swapped around - Ryder is the smaller of the two now, while Flare is the big tanky wrestler.

They sent me another unspecified warning today. This time they blamed me for "hateful conduct", not telling me why. The worst part? My account is now at limited access. I can no longer post or send messages.

Silly and quick(-ish) thing I wanted to draw, roughly based on a CrossWorlds interaction between these two. Had the urge to draw Storm again (haven't in some time) but didn't really have the energy or motivation to commit to something more detailed or larger or what have you. #SpinSlashArt

Storm the Albatross and Big the Cat (both from the Sonic franchise), each clad in each other's outfit - Storm with Big's belt, gloves and jandals, and Big with Storm's goggles, necklace, gloves and shoes.
Storm seems a little unsure, the belt looking a bit oversized on him as he works on adjusting it, while Big just seems pleased with the arrangement, tweaking the placement of the necklace.

ARTIST'S NOTE:
In the original drawing of these two that I've pulled my colours from for the last few years now, I SOMEHOW forgot to draw Storm's necklace. Lacking a convenient colour reference for it on that image as a result, I bullshitted the metal colours and pulled the cord's from his CrossTalk mod art for this pic.
(Both of them are generally more accurately-proportioned here than in that original art as well - early 2020s me had a bad case of Tiny Head Syndrome in my artwork, jesus christ)

Been a while, whoops. Quick little thing just to try and get back into a drawing groove. (bear in mind I *have* been drawing things this past year, though these last few months I've kinda hit a slump)

Trip the Sungazer (using a personal design of mine, see earlier posts) and my own Flare the Tyrannosaur, running onward with worried expressions.
