Went to devcamp unconference/barcamp last week in Düsseldorf. Almost forgot how refreshing ad-hoc agendas are. You may have guessed the core topic. It was like 90% AI, everyone still figuring out how to use it best, from models to tools to harnesses to working with legacy code.

Finished: Designing Data intensive applications, 2nd edition Had this on my desk for some time, finally read it. 2nd edition came out nine years after the first & includes some cloud specific updates. Very well spent time, lots of follow up links. Recommendation for any backend developer.
