iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

It seems that because of my multi-month break, YouTube isn’t pushing my videos out to as many people, and I’m gonna have to regain the trust of the algorithm. So if you have time, please try and pop by whenever you can on new uploads!

Was meant to post this with the YouTube post like 20 minutes ago 😭

I’m so sorry for the two months no upload.

Things have been so fucking busy, and then I got really ill this week. (Still am, kill me)

I have a video half edited that I’m making my way through so hopefully that’ll be up soon.

And I also fully intent to make a video on YouTube’s plans to up monetisation requirements (because that DEEPLY affects what I’m trying to do on my channel) as well as explain why I’ve been so absent from my socials lately.

But I still have no plans to quit! Like I said in one of my videos. I will only ever take massive breaks, but NEVER quit.

I love you all. See you soon ❤️

Considering coming back to Twitch Streaming. I am not sure how often as I have been getting really busy as of lately, especially with this short film I am starting work on, but I honestly have missed it! <3 If you haven't already, go follow: www.twitch.tv/spinelwillow

Just a quick heads up before anyone freaks out, I have updated my usernames from 8-BitWillow to SpinelWillow to try and be a little more original, and to also just reflect myself a little more. I chose "Spinel" because of the purple spinel gemstone.

If anyone tried to access my channel recently and couldn’t, it’s because YouTube decided I wasn’t acting old enough and decided to force me to verify my age, privating all my videos in the process! Despite the mini heart attack, everything is fine.

Alright, for over 2 years now, I have posted on YouTube with the username "8-BitWillow" and whilst at the time wasn't a direct play on 8-BitRyan's username, is consistently the reason people think I'm a straight up copy. (1/3)

So, I recently brought up the idea of making a tag on here for fan art. If anyone feels like it, the tag I am going with is #8BWFanArt :3

I tell you what, after these next two videos I am never recording for 3 hours ever again, or at least until I upgrade my PC. I have never seen my editing software struggle harder than it currently is, and I am only half way through the final cut 😭

Sorry for the long time, no upload guys. I'm going through a bit of a hard time mentally, again. Just when I think I'm starting to feel better something else hits me. I'll try and get something out as soon as possible.

Not many of you will probably realise I did this, but just so that it's out there, yes I went back and blurred my mother's face in everything related to FNAF the Musical Recreation on my channel.

This week has been so exhausting 😪 I hope to edit a video over the weekend but I also need to do my driver’s test before I turn 16 😭

Did I just have an existential crisis? Probably. ANYWAY! I am gonna try and get a video out tomorrow 👍

On a side note to my last post, I have figured out how to get better microphone quality! It only took me nearly 3 years of doing this crap T-T

Dude, I need help. I didn't even make it a week with my chosen upload scheldue without diviating from it. I literally all have kept going "I'll edit in a little bit" and then didn't edit. WHY CAN'T I GET MOTIVATION TO DO ANYTHING! 😫

This probably won't be happening anymore, cause my new microphone isn't good for singing AT ALL and I can't be bothered swapping mics to my old crappy one mid stream.

So, as we all know, I haven't been very active on Twitch this year due to my slow ass internet. But, I have a yearly tradition to perfectly time songs exactly at 12am for new years. So, I will be going live at twitch.tv/8bitwillowlive on December 31st 11pm AEDT to continue that tradition.

I don’t like to vent on my main account but these things are causing my upload schedule to slip. I’m struggling. A lot. Mentally and financially. I can’t barely look at myself in the mirror without hating what I see, my parents (despite trying so hard to support me) shrug things off because-

Was editing the Resident Evil 2 video and found my N and V Shimejis like this. I don't care what the hell anyone says, CANON.

Done editing this video. Hopefully will be up in the morning. (I usually upload around 2-6am AEDT) It’s another Resident Evil 2 Video.

Thank you guys so much for 12,000 views! I don’t think I even got this many on my old channel that had more subs than this one, so thank you.

I just realised that I should do an intro so hi! I’m Willow. I’m a small Australian Content Creator and High School student. I enjoy video games, drawing, music and writing. You’ll mainly find me hanging around my YouTube Channel where I post let’s play type videos and just have a chill time.

Honestly, it’s refreshing being able to come onto this app and actually enjoy scrolling. I had to delete Twitter from my phone to limit my time on it because of the amount of depressing posts and drama was getting to me.

I officially have Bluesky now! I honestly wish I could fully move over here and just be done with Twitter, but there are still a LOT of accounts I wanna interact with that haven't moved over here yet. Either way, I will post on here the same way I would Twitter, so yeah!
