J.J. McCarthy is a Giant. Wow. Honestly, I feel like he's the best option the Giants could have got, because not many teams were willing to part with their QB depth. They weren't getting Mac Jones or Anthony Richardson, for example. Now the question becomes how long until J.J. starts for Big Blue.

Back home from the theater. Seeing Coyote vs Acme a second time was definitely worth it, even though I knew what was going to happen. And this time, I stayed for the credits where I saw the dedication to all the fans who helped push for the movie's release. Thank YOU, Ketchup Entertainment. 🤎💜

So I have found my limit for how many parodies I can put on a master disc at once: 19 [technically]. BRIGHTHOUSE Parodies is so big, I had to cut one bonus track, "The Bolts of Wonder", from the master disc. HOWEVER, I still plan to release it as a stand-alone on its scheduled release date.

Back home after spending Friday night and most of today at Mom's. Weather didn't turn out to be as bad as originally forecasted, just off-and-on waves of showers. There's still a chance of storms Sunday, but the worst should be north of me overnight, and south of me during the day.

And this is exactly why I'm unfortunately not going to the Indiana State football game tomorrow. I learned my lesson in 2015 when lightning strikes delayed the season opener twice and NEARLY hit the stadium, I'm not going to have history repeat itself. Better safe than sorry, I'll watch it on TV.

All things considered, had a pretty good Week 1 for fantasy football. 5 of my 7 teams got wins; the 2 teams that lost got blown out. Lots of waiver moves put in for those 2 teams for Week 2, mostly just depth moves for the winners. If Ladd McConkey is out next week, that could be a concern.

Got some love and appreciation from two of my favorite college mascots today, as Rameses and SuperFrog replied to my congratulatory messages! This has been a really good week for me 😁 #GoHeels #GoFrogs 🩵💜

SuperFrog, the TCU Horned Frogs mascot, also replied to me after I gave him a good-luck message prior to tonight's game against Grambling. I said "Time to bounce back tonight...BEAT GRAMBLING" and after the Frogs won 63-7, SuperFrog replied with "HUGE W!!!" I replied "Absolutely!!! Perfect get right game and gives a big confidence boost going forward!"

SuperFrog has one of the best views as the Horned Frogs score another touchdown in their 63-7 victory over Grambling.
