We hit a scientest sea lab. Beat up a huge dragon. Got mad a blue glw stick. Made Zell have a huge attack stat and got every gf. I call that a successful time in FF8. ignore the little story progress.

We got a spaceship, we got a person to save and places to be! So join me in another fantastic round of Final Fantasy 8!! Where i will slash through anyone in my way, destroy sorceresses and succumb to my addiction to a card game.

Well that was a successful time. I ignored my impulse to play to much triple triad and made progress!! So I flew into space, saved rinoa, beat up aliens and ate some cacti. I say very successful FF8 play time. Till next time my imps!! See you then!

SpikeVein @spikevein.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Last time on Final Fantasy 8. Our demon ball and crew fought their beloved soceress, found out theres a future soceress that want to compress time. Made it to Esther and even played a ton of cards! So come on down to find out what comes next!! Maybe Space!! twitch.tv/spikevein

We had a ton of fun in stream! We beat fujin and raijin in balamb. Messed around the shumi village. I cry at the random rule. Random sucks. dud story and had a neat aerial battle. Sadly my internet got spotty or something. till next time my imps!! See you then!

Back to Final Fantasy 8 and I will try to keep the triple triad to a minimum. Not my fault it is so addicting!! Not like there will be a card or two in balamb for me to get. Right ... Right!? Watch me try to fight the instinct to duel! See you there my imps!

SpikeVein @spikevein.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

While i can say a good amount of that was triple triad. Final Fantasy 8 has still been fun. We beat norg, did the things in FH got control of the garden and beat up Odin and Tonberry King! I say a successful time my imps! So till next time i see you!

SpikeVein @spikevein.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Last time we dodged explosions with our now floating garden!! Sadly without control. We will be drifting the oceans of FF8. So come on down as we do things about our garden and probably more cards. Defintly more triple triad. God i love that game! twitch.tv/spikevein

The technical issues persist and I am raging. I will get this fixed by tomorrow i hope. Sorry my imps!

I also like it when a bestiary can tell me what items I can steal from an enemy. Really good thing to track.

SpikeVein @spikevein.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

Sorry my imps I am having issues so no stream today. Will hopefully get fixed before tomorrow.

Being able to constantly see the life bar is a great boon in rpgs. It makes scanning and such a lot more worth it.

Bestiaries are amazing. Even more so if they got flavor text. I love me some flavor text on monsters.

I remember it as Kong-Quest as a pun of conquest and it was a quest for his kong buddy.

Triple Triad is such a fun card game. Though I do enjoy the fishing in Dark Cloud 2 and the lil aquarium you could have for them. Also like 90% of Dragon Quest Monsters is Side Quest.

Yeah the grinding is what gets me. That and if the game has a mini game thats addictingly good. I can not tell you how long I just enjoy playing triple triad in FF8.

SpikeVein @spikevein.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

Well the first Dragon Quest Monster Game on Gameboy is fairly short. Sure my typical play through is usually 20 hours but thats because I do a lot more then needed. I'm also a guy who likes RPGs.

Name a game you completed more than six times I'm felling real old with Dragon Warrior Monsters.
