"Truly absurd amounts of money" would be a whole different ball game. For that, I already have plans upon plans.

Yeah, when you have so many needs, from basic human maintenance, to making life bearable, it's kind of hard to get into that "let's do something cool" mindset, especially knowing that $25 million is barely enough to (maybe) cover a major illness in the USA.

I would say I'm right there with you, but let's go with I'm a few blocks over. For me, frivolous right now is stuff that should be essential if life was about humans living & being their best. Not trying to get my hair done but maybe have music in my life, see a show. Have shoes that don't hurt.

$25 million doesn't go that far these days & is nowhere near ultra rich. That said, I'd DO frivolous things instead of buying them. Travel; eat world's great food; set up a trust & empty a bunch of pet shelters; parachute; parasail; classes... 'vacation home + beautiful locale isn't frivolous'=😂

Done while avoiding something else is significantly better than not done. This type of procrastination by accomplishing something else would improve my life exponentially, while not being anywhere near ideal. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Like Adderall.

Jungkook’s “My Time,” from BTS’s 2020 MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 is about his experience of growing up inside BTS. His solo choreography is fluid with expressive beats and dancers framing him as he performs and sings about his youth in BTS, lost time, the past and present. #BTS #BTSARMY #Kpop #MusicSky

2 things: Therapy is prepared for exaggerated whining! 🙂👍 They help you with it & help keep your friends/ family from having their own downward spiral from hearing it. Just because *you* think something is exaggerated whining, doesn't mean it necessarily is. Imagine a friend saying things to you.

I think for the sake of keeping track it has to be "Chapter 1: Naming Convention." The ones I like best as a reader are as above, and the NC is descriptive, like: Chapt. 4, In which I find out what fubar means Or Chapt. 23: An unpleasant hike through rough territory.

RM hopes people realize “it’s fun to come to an exhibition.” This isn't a place to stand in a sterile room and gaze at a masterwork. Instead, viewers are invited to sit down and enjoy getting lost in one work of art or another. To contemplate deep questions, but also to laugh and be playful. #museum

That is so wonderful! Half my problem in medical care is finding the right provider. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Even within ENT, they keep sending me to different subspecialties *within* the ENT specialty! As for physio, I've basically had to demand it & they're all half-assing it. I get more useful info from YouTube.

#BTS #ARMY #RM watch out for this scam account! They are not SFMOMA, they using a fake email address, do not send them any money for tickets or merch! Multiple people have reported them to Bsky but the profile is still active.

I think there's more than one. There's SFMoma123, there's an SF Moma that looks legit except their posts have a Gmail address asking people to write for tickets, & maybe SF MoMA that I can't see 'cause they blocked me too. 🤷🏾‍♂️
