Made a stat resolution system which I like quite a lot. Curious if any other TTRPG writers/designers have thoughts.

Checks
Checks will be required in order for a PC to interact with the world. A player asks to do something, the GM decides on a skill or base stat for the player to roll and a dr for them to roll against. The player then rolls 2d6, adds the appropriate modifiers, Meeting or exceeding the DR results in a success. Rolling a 13 in total always results in a complication, regardless of wether that result is a success or failure.
Rerolling Checks
A player may reroll any and every one of their checks one time. Doing so always results in a complication, and the player must keep the new result. A 13 in total adds another complication on top of the one incurred automatically by the reroll.

DR table:
2: Piss-easy
3-4: Foolproof
5-6: Uncomplicated
7-8: Quite easy
9-10: Not Difficuly
12-13: Standard difficulry
14-15: Proper difficult
16-17: "Professionals Only"
18-19: Improbable
20: Miraculous
21+: "Impossible"

Not tagging or QRT'ing the original bc I don't want to start a flame war or whatever over this, but this just kinda reeks of classism to me. Like, it's fine to take this approach if magic is a class metaphor in your world, but have you ever read an electrician's diagrams? That's fucking IRL magic.
