Found an American mahjong set for $4. The flat tiles with captions aren't ideal but it's light and fits in my purse.

Flat American mahjong tiles. 8 pinzu and a joker held over a green and yellow cutting mat.

The file ended up being quite large with everything on one canvas. I've never done all 31 days before but even if it was just a stick figure or a scribble I'm glad I did it.

Day 24: Lucky I love playing mahjong but I've never had the chance to try the Washizu version from Akagi. I chose the 5 man because the book the protagonist carries in V is the 5th volume of the Manyoshu. I think this would be his lucky tile. #atlusartober

Day 23: Danger The english release of Digital Devil Saga has a theme song called "Danger" by Etro Anime and these two were my favorite part of the first game. I used the pose from the opening theme of "Revolutionary Girl Utena" as well. #atlusartober #atlusfaithful

Day 16: Weak I think the plants in Da'at Shinjuku resemble reeds or leeks. They reminded me of the Blaise Pascal quote used in the achievements. #atlusartober
