It is also reported that yesterday police used long-range acoustic devices against protesters. These devices are a type of a specialized loudspeaker that produces sound at an extremely high decibel capacity (up to 160 dB). It has been known to cause permanent hearing damage.

Reports I found so far are that two people were killed yesterday by police sound canon use in Belgrade. It can stop pacemakers. There were a lot of injuries, broken ear drums, hearing loss, and broken bones from stampede. I’m trying to find more sources to confirm but getting on a flight soon.

This is a translation from one testimony:

Numerous children were admitted yesterday at Clinical center after LRAD attack. Every doctor tells the same - it seemed like a train run through people. On orthopedic department around 20 patients ended up with broken legs, arms, joints. Three were kept at the hospital. At the moment I was at neurological examination, at least ten students were admitted with sever head and ear pain, they were shaking from shock. Many are confused and have difficulty talking. Neurologist told me that they don't know what will happen next, since this is the first time they witnessed something like this. There are some that are completely deaf on one ear now.

At exactly 19:10, an attack was ordered on two places with a sound cannon, towards Terazije and towards Nikola Pasica Square, exactly during the 15 minutes of silence.... At that moment, Hofman's troop was tasked to fly in from Prizrenska, and another from Takovska, with masks and stones and cannon shots, and to feign an attack on the pioneer park.

The students broke into them from 200 meters away, yelled at them to take off their masks, of course they rushed, and at that moment the POWER SWITCHED OFF in front of the Assembly, and the planned attack with stones from the pioneer park on the demonstrators began - via a tractor. IN SECOND, the student security lights blue torches, removes the guards' badges, and forces people to Slavija and Trg Republike. IN A SECOND, the plateau in front of the Assembly is empty, and the criminals are ALONE!!!

Regular cops rushed in and calmed them all down. Arrested the leaders and the end. There is nothing.

And they also prepared weapons and oysters from the roofs. The students screwed them up in 5 minutes and evacuated the people, and prevented the disaster. the chiefs of the gendarmerie came immediately, sent troops in the dark from Pravnogo to the House of Unions to PROTECT THE DEMONSTRATORS.

This was a terrorist, UN-prohibited attack on completely peaceful protesters observing 15 minutes of silence.
